I saw a slightly later incarnation of the Spoons (different drummer) and they were great! I'm a player (for many years) and was really knocked out (and surprised!) at how well the band played, how good the songs were, and, yes, how great Sandy handled things. True, this is real 80s stuff, but if this band were out of London, England, it would have been global and classic.

@kitiara1313 - actually Hands Of Money morphed into a song called Cool Life which was then combined with Unpremeditated Love to become Bridges Over Borders - what do you know about the demo for Ready - I've never heard of it but it would be great to get a hold of if it was floating around.

@dcappe I just remember seeing an interview on MuchMusic or a similar show with Gord, saying that these songs were demos from when they were shopping around for a new label after they left Ready. I have no idea if they're available.
