  • Why didnt the camera guy get a close up on the screen...cant see a thing

  • Watched two of this guys videos, and I'm left with one question... Did it ever occur to the cameraman that we may wanna see what he's tapping on the screen?? Geez... Defeats the purpose.

  • Hi, I have a roland sound module and like one of the drum kits. I would greatly appreciate if you could show me to sample this kit into my Triton Studio. Do the Triton require any optional card installed. All I know is my Triton has 96mb Ram. Thanks.

  • what about a gray casio keyboard

  • I'm playing in a band and am looking for a keyboard to play live. I don't really know where to start. Would I get something decent for £500?

  • korg x50 is pretty good, about £560, but it has no sequencer, but great sounds!

  • what kinda music you want to play?

  • @KosmicFlux: you can get a yamaha mm6 for around 400 pounds its a entry level synth that has sounds from the motif keyboard and its good for live use.

  • microkorg

  • if you are in a band don't waste your money on a workstation. buy an arranger. Yamaha YPG-625 is very good and very cheap with allot of professional samples.

  • @bohemiangrove

    no. just no.

arrangers are meant for keyboardists to be entire bands, by themselves, live.

if you're playing in a band, and arranger is NOT for you.

on the other hand, while workstations do have extra features for studio production, they generally have the best sound samples. all professionals use workstations on stage (unless of course they are using a synth).

an arranger makes drums, basslines, etc all by itself.... if your in a band, u already have this accompaniment.

  • @drakeishfyre I use an arranger in band too expand the possibility's. A workstation can't do that. For live an arranger is better. I use the korg pa1x and triton studio when playing live, but chances are I will leave my triton at home if KORG will ever release a damn arranger with more than 256 RAM. That way I can sample all i want from the triton and MOSS board into the pa1x.

  • @bohemiangrove

how do you 'expand' the possibilities with an arranger?

workstations generally have better samples built in than arrangers.

also, as amazing as korgs synths and workstations are, roland and yamaha (IMHO) offer better arranging options.

  • @drakeishfyre are you a newbie or what? "how do you expand the possibilities with an arranger" what kind of stupid question is that? if you can sample what you want then you don't need the workstation now do you? Roland and Yamaha having better arranging option??? That's the biggest load of crap I have ever heard. Yamaha has far better sounds than KORG. With Roland I am not familiar. But KORG definitely beats Yamaha when it comes to features. that's the reason we all pick KORG.

  • ayo!!! i have the triton studio....and before i start a new song i set the length to 4..but when i use the cuelist it add another measure, so it wont loop right...it always have a blank bar...can u please help me....???

  • bought the triton not too long ago, lost the manual (im such an idiot) saw this and was relieved~ lol thanks for posting this video!! was trying to figure ot sampling/recording

  • is there any way u can put a combination sound in 1 track instead of 1-8 or 9-16

  • The m3 isn't that much of an upgrade from the extreme. imo it's not worth the price i would go for the studio if you don't have a daw setup and need an all in 1 solution

  • But my triton only takes floppies

  • ey my man how much one od deese kost??

    like estimated..ly?
