Hey Joshua, you're a douchebag. Did you catch McCain's wonderful foreign policy speech the other day. It was very eloquent and well thought out. You know damn well that McCain's mistakes were just mistakes due to fatigue and travel, etc. Would you please just leave America?
Was the mistake to invade Iraq in the first place due to intelligence that was known to be faulty and unclear also due to fatigue? Hmmm?
And did anywhere in John McCain, former POW and so called "Maverick" running for some kind of "Warrior in Chief" position, say anything at all in his "eloquent" foreign policy speech about funding the new bipartisan GI Bill? He's one of the only Senators against it and why? Because Bush thinks money for veterans will keep them from re-enlisting.

Well, whatever the truth of the issues might be, none of the issues and truths that Dr. Paul wants to bring up and impliment are being considered by any major party. The Libertarians are probably his best bet and so I'm a bit disconcerted that, since he's seems so serious about a presidential bid, he's hanging on to a slim hope of still getting the Republican nomination.
I mean, does he seriously think he'll still get it?
I believe that this was right on the money. McCain is all about, and only about, Iraq. He just plans to let Bush's policies play themselves out and hope for the best.

One thing is for sure. If Iran won't stop their nuke program, we will. For that, McCain may be the best one, as Obama has said as recently as three years ago that he is not experienced enough to be president. Barack is also suspect on his religious views and patriotism. He talks good, but his decisions are bad. I live in Illnois, so I know he votes for all the liberal junk to waste money on.
Hillary's far too socialist and emotionally unstable. Like I said before, we're screwed with any of 'em.
I was amazed how incompetent McCain seemed when questioned by Ron Paul during one of the debates. His answer to rely on others for advice was shocking, and proved Paul was correct to call him out on his lack of economic knowledge.
I think we are screwed with any of the three candidates. McCain wants to expand the war into Iran, obviously. Obama is just a puppet and Hitlery is schizo.
Seriously, McCain and the whole generation of cold war thinkers need to be put away in think tanks or homes. The new reality of world power is something they will not accept. McCain suffered for the sins of the USA, but learned nothing from them. Its so much cheaper for us to find a different path. Not only is the old way destructive in terms of lives and property, its drained our nation of all our cash.
Man, I wish we could take this month's 12 billion for Iraq on America's plague: potholes! Both my front wheels are bent from a winter of driving around Chicagoland goddamit!
Proof once again, that JOHN McCAIN'S top priority is the acquisition of power for it's own sake. While this is depressingly common in politicians (esp. as you get "closer to the top"), it is rarely so SPECTACULARLY so as in the case of Mr.McCain. As I've said before, he's gone from being the Democrat in Republican drag (see back in the run up to 2000), calling the likes of Jerry Falwell anti-social influences, to a war drumming neo-con associating with the likes of JOHN HAGEY. He's a WHORE.
Under Republican control the debt held by the citizens of the USA is now officially 5,282,898,305,594.39. Never, ever, ever, will I take a Republican seriously about fiscal responsibility. They will borrow to play Army with our kids and enrich their investors but cry like babies over Social Spending. Oh, and W. will forever represent the model Republican. That alone sums it all up.
Regarding McCain's foreign policy competency; is that really all that important? I mean, shouldn't we be focused on something more substantive, like his pastor's sermons? I mean we know he accepts John Hagee's hugs and kisses.
That was sarcasm, lest some be confused. But seriously, Hagee's an psychotic asshole.
very well done. but you failed to miss the fact that there is more than one way to spend like a drunken sailor. Like raising the tax burden on the middle class. by taking over the healthcare of a nation this size. or by trying pretend that SSI will be around when the babyboomers start retiring. I am not a war Lover and I have no dog in that fight but, it is not the only dog fighting. paul
It's strange how my respect for a person who's opinion can take an enormous dent after hearing my continent (Europe) in the same breath as China & Russia following the description of "a few people in the hills of Afganisthan" - I've reviewed that portion 3 times and without the context of the "people in the hills" it could be excusable but like this it's just insane.
I still like your analysis and will continue reading but this shows a bit of your global views I can't respect.
More than gaffes. McCain obviously has no clue about what is going on in the Middle East. Frightening that this man might get near a red button or a red phone.
I'd vote for McCain if he weren't promising to bring back the entire Petraeus Bear Stearns brain trust which invaded the wrong country in the first place and buried the US dollar in the same hole along with Saddam Hussein.

and visions of nuclear mushroom clouds danced in mccains head and everyone lived happily ever after, are you off your meds john you seem to be slightly dillusional.
btw, I just wanted to say Veracifier's analyzes is amazing.
Tragically, if only our so-called professional mainstream American media have similar critical perspective instead of repeating same old Bush and McCain mantra with little examination of its legitimacy and danger to the American people and country.
I think this is a very simplistic view of john mccain. He's hammering on Iraq and foreign policy because that's where he believes he can win this election. McCain voiced opposition to both the tax cuts because they didn't come with spending decreases. Its not like he isn't aware of the importance of the economy.
JOSH! That was a great argument for why the war and bad economy is connected. Bush's lack of financial regulation, and the way he let no bid contractors loot our tax money, are the root of the financial crisis.
McCain would definitely run this country right into the ground just like Bush is trying to do.
Let the old fool have his day. You can see how much he loves this campaign trail bull. No one in his party will "swift boat" him this time, he's got the nomination. Does anyone believe he will be elected as president? Please, get real.
we don't need another dimwitted uncompromising ignorant warmongers, we already have one in the White House and look how low he brought our military and economy.
McCain sometimes comes across as that soldier among the defeated empire that keep insisting we are still standing strong, even after our blood has been shed and our society are grasping against the ugly reality of un-checked governmental power.
i agree john mccain is weird now. who the hell knows what happened really lol, but theres something wrong there.
I'm glad someone is talking sense about cents and russia and china, or mentioning them at all...i really hope humans as a species can transcend or evolve or what have you before another huge war breaks out. I worry about water despite history showing that most conflicts over access to water rarely escalate to armed conflict and more likely to be resolved by peaceful cooperation.
I used to believe in McCain, back in 2000, before he let Bush bully and muddy him. Now he seems like another Bush clone who is unable to stand up for thoughts of his own before the Republican establishment that maligned him so much. I think the strongest argument that he may be unfit to be President is the worrisome pattern of forgetfulness he's been exhibiting in recent weeks. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem as mentally or physically strong as he once seemed to be.
It's actually quite important, and goes to a fundamental error. After 9-11 the Iranians offered to help us in looking for al-Qaeda folks. By and large they were spurned, but it showed the critical difference between al Qaeda and Iranian proxies in Iraq. The latter are focused on Shia political struggles in the Middle East. Al Qaeda is led by Sunnis and is seen as a threat by Iran. To fail to recognize this opportunity and use it to our advantage was and is to be in dereliction of duty, my friend
Is it just me, or does McCain kind of seem like a political puppet/parrot without any real thoughts of his own? Bush on the other hand seems intentionally ignorant about critical issues, (looking the other way for his personal benefit); While McCain just seems clueless/poorly informed.
Great. Another 'President Dumbass'! Just what we need! Iranians are training fellow SHIA which, should not be unexpected. Actually, expatriot Iraqi Shia have been receiving aid & military training in Iraq ever since the Iran/Iraq war! What a dumbass. You wanna end 'extremism'? DRAIN THE SWAMP! Quit killing Muslims & occupying their countries! Quit propping up brutal Arab dictators! Shit man, this stuff ain't rocket science!
i don't think you mean "fuck isreal". that would wish collective punishment, and in turn infect yourself with the very contagion which they now suffer. keep in mind, a majority of israelis are normal human beings.
many of us are trying to understand all this strangeness, but one thing i know for sure is that i only wish for justice.

Remember there's oil in that shock and awe. They need to show they are willing to still try and get it.

The new post Bush-Cheney junta: McCain & Lieberman.
If the current administration haven't yet sufficiently bankrupted our country, these clowns will finish the job if elected.

btw, I just wanted to say Veracifier's analyzes is amazing.

Its not like he isn't aware of the importance of the economy.

good point, he has to take the side that can help him win, and taking the other route is already taken

IF there is a God, we need it more than ever.

At about 2:42 I lov Mrs. McCain's face. McCain can lie his ass off and keep a straight face, but she cant.

i agree john mccain is weird now. who the hell knows what happened really lol, but theres something wrong there.

Don't forget his poor math skills and complete lack of any understanding about economics (you can thank Ron Paul for pointing that out)
