Sometimes the smallest things make a big difference - my heart just melted when, at 0:29, Kathy looked into the camera and smiled, as if to say "Hi, I'm glad you're here".
I can't begin to imagine the horror these girls experienced seeing their father shot dead right in front of them; however, I thought Kathy is the pretty one, or is it Janet, no wait, I think it was Dee Dee, nooo, I think it is Peggy, nope I'm pretty sure it's Kathy, but then again...
Regarding sisters and brothers who sing tending to have particularly beautiful blends, it is true. I know the Andrews Sisters discovered when Patty was not even five that they had a blend. Likewise the McGuire Sisters, Dinning Sisters, DeMarco Sisters, DeJohn Sisters, Fontane Sisters, Bell Sisters and Ames Brothers. With the Andrews, Maxene and Laverne actually had lead voices but Patti was chosen because she had a higher, clearer, bell-like sound.

Yes, you are correct. In August of 1969, while at a golf course, the stalker confronted dad Bill Lennon and shot him right in front of his eldest son Dan. Poor Dan had to go home and inform the family.
I enjoy all of them. But, I will swear, Kathy makes you feel like she is singing directly to you. I wish I could tell them how much they mean to me. Thanks to every one who allows us to continue to enjoy their gift. JUST BEAUTIFUL!

I'm a relatively new fan and am amazed at the passion of their fan base. Some of whom aren't exactly 'kids' either.
Besides the talent and visual appeal, they sing from a very loving place. Their hearts are open and the power they exude is a joyous one.
