get the hf200 its cheaper and sd cards aren't very expensive

how did u get the macro setting?.. i own this camera i just bought it 2 days ago and it seems that i cant get this feature to work

It's been way too long for me to remember. I believe the default setting would allow it to do macro automatically.

I was thinking If it focus's off one persons face in the background, to someone in the foreground.

And I think that last shot just proved it.

In fact, it has multiple face detection. If you have multiple faces, you can actually choose which face you want it to focus on to while recording!

32 to be exact! pretty crazy! I didn't know you could choose which face to focus on though. How do you do that?

I don't have this camera with me anymore, but I believe you can just move the joystick when it's in the face detection mode.
