This is the most song similar to original recordings I've heard. Thank you very much, 240252. Time goes by, but I realize people knew to enjoy as much or better than now, and there were not so many prejudices.

Peachy keen clip! What swell toe-tappers! Puts me in the mood to put on my racoon coat & fill my hip flask for New Years Eve! THANKS for posting this....you're the bee's knees...in fact, you're the cats pajamas! Oh you kid!!! 23 Skidoo!!! :)
Just brilliant. Recorded nearly 85 years ago. Familiar jazz tune by guys enjoying themselves like the young guys in bands today, and yesterday and tomorrow. I feel priviledged to listen to this.. Keep Utube free (just heard Google want to start charging per view) - Let them know you disagree!
en los 70¨s se vendia un cassette de musica de los veintes donde se usaba muchos instrumentos de percusion se llamaba repercutive twenties sabe alguien donde conseguirlo u oirlo?
Now this is better than listening to the financial "experts" telling us how everything went wrong and that they are in no way to blame.This is wonderful music.Thank you.
What a surprise! This is my great Uncle Oliver! Thanks for posting this, I can't wait to tell his son (of the same name, he's 86 years young), he'll be thrilled. He was a very dapper man too, its too bad you don't have a photo of him to add to this. But this was a real treat just the same! I enjoyed this very much. Thank you!
Hi, sorry just getting to your note. You message was a great surprise! Which band member is your father? I can't wait to tell my uncle. Do you live in AL? Do you have any memorabilia/photos of the band? There's a CD out there that you can buy with most of their recordings and some great linear notes taken from Mr. Naylor. A real treat.
My mom learned the Charleston after she saw it in a movie when she was nine years old. They had an old wind up victrola and a family member found a record of the music. Dancing does help chase away the blues and take our minds off of problems for awhile so it does look like people had no cares in the world when we watch them dancing and just cuttin' up having fun. I love this video and the music always makes me want to dance. Thanks for putting this up for us. - Paula
Naylor's band was mostly New Orleans musicians, and were based out of Birmingham, Alabama before they tried their luck on the national scene in New York.

@12naylors
my husband's grandfather was in the band as well. Charlie Hartmann/Trombone- he co-wrote some of the songs.
Our family is still here in new orleans!
