The average NCAA defensive player gets 1.5 sacks in a 12-game season. Getting one like that is something to be pretty damn pumped about, even if you are the conference sack-leader. Refs should understand that when players make big plays (like they're supposed to) they will get excited. It's only natural. Good refs know that.

Houston, USC wins championships because of great plays like the one in this video. Now you try to say they are overrated; but i would love for you to find a team that could beat USC in a bowl game when they have the #1 defense in the country. I think most people will agree that USC should have played Florida or Texas in the championship game and I think many will agree that USC's defense would have crushed any team if they played the way they played against Penn State this year.

For the past 4 years, USC has finished last in the Pac10 in opponents penalty yardage per game. This is a mathematical improbability meaning the Pac 10 officials may be calling USC games unfairly.

You guys have Haloti Ngata, that guy is a beast NT. Ellis is better suited in a 4-3 anyways, so how about the Ravens trade down 2 spots with the Saints? That way you guys can keep Sedrick Ellis from going to the Bengals, and out of the division.
