yea it would've been polite of him if he just said hi at least, Im surprised he said "go away" maybe he wasnt having a good day? maybe in a bad mood? Seeing a couple of girls running after him might've thrown him off gaurd. To come home to griffiti on his drive way might have ticked him off a little. but its the thot that counts for your mom. at least you got to see him in person, (:

I adore Neil! If it were me, I would try not to feel bad that he said "go away" - honestly stalking his house and writing on his driveway IS a little weird. And he probably doesn't want to encourage it. But still - you saw him!!! That would be amazing enough for me.

I'm sorry that you didn't get to say 'HI', I would've flipped out too. I LOVE NPH too since the Doogie years, and I'm sure that he smiled seeing the I <3 U NPH on the sidewalk. I so wish that he would've came back to say 'hi' to your mom, at least she got to 'see him' and the house, which is really beautiful.
