I myself am a victim of gun violence. I watched my step father get shot 5 times in the chest and my mother getting shot once in the arm through a windshield in a car that I was in the back seat of less than 3 feet away from them. I was 11 just a small child witnessing this horror. All over a child custody dispute. I am 41 years old now and still have vivid nightmares about this one short day in my lif.
