  • The VA EEM and FHA perks are a joke! Go ahead and refi with the streamline, because it does reduce your interest rate, but don't get your heart set on energy efficient upgrades. Your lender will offer you no guidance, and forget speaking to a VA underwriter in their ivory tower.
