  • What a great set of videos you have! Green Blessings to you, too! I split one of my plants long ago and now the next is large, too, but not as much as yours. I think I'll go check on them now, though.

  • for some reason i thought you dried it with sunlight such as near a window....drying it in a darker place from now on! Thanks....these little gems are so helpful

  • I am a woman with broken elbow (bike crash 6 wks ago) troubled by slow healing because of mineral absorption problems (post gastric bypass and rheumatoid arthritis).

I just got some comfrey plants . Can I just strip the wilted leaves off the stems and dry them on a cookie sheet in a warm oven (pilot light only)? Then crush, reconstitute with water and maybe a little olive oil or coconut oil to make poultices?

How would you handle it? I am a n00bie and would appreciate any advice!!

  • make your poultice with the fresh herb if available, then freeze in icecube tray what you dont plan to use right away. then take what you need as you need it. If you dont have fresh plant dried will work too..

  • Please come to Ontario again soon, I missed the last visit. Cheers!!

  • oh how I wish I could come across a lot of comfrey to 'liberate' as you have. I have one small plant that I am nurturing. It is a wonderful plant.
