Wow, after reading the comments and hearing Luther's solo I was about to come to his defense, because he was hittin the note. But that might be the best I've ever heard Rich play
these guys just make wonderful music...esp good to see Rich playing like this - when i saw him in sydney he kept looking across at LR as if for queues...but he's the man...LR is also incredible...think that this combination of the group is just on another level...something else, something wonderful, soulful....
I'm so glad I found this. not only is it one of my favorite songs ever, but it's a beautiful example of something the Crowes do immensely well; starting with something sparse and just building it into a wall of power
I've listened to Dylan's original version of this and other versions by Dylan, Johnny Cash, Mojave 3, Stephen Stills, Rod Stewart, Altan and others. The Black Crows took it where no else could especially on The Black Crows Live at the Filmore 08/07/05.
Wow, what a great version of a classic! Never knew the Crowes performed it... thanks so much for posting it!

Una versió molt emocionant de la cançó d'en Dylan:
"Well, if you go when the snowflakes storm
When the rivers freeze and summer ends
Please see if she’s wearing a coat so warm
To keep her from the howlin’ winds"

The finest version ever, There's special nights when songs get nailed and as Dr J would say this was "such a night"
