I have always had GAD and I completely agree with all of your anti-anxiety techniques! I recently got off of Lexapro after being on it for almost 4 years and my anxiety is back to its old self again. These techniques help so much! Thank you for sharing and good look controlling your anxiety!
I only had 2 days at work last week but because I was off for a week before that I found it a hard week - this vidoe helped me out this weekend with the negative-head that was slipping on me
See a Professional Councillor, go to bed earlier in the week. stop worrying about other people's situation, move on ignore others, stop messing around on chat sites. be constructive. Stay healthy.
ooof thanks.i have a freaking fear of heights so when i just look out from the balcony i get very anxient like im about to fall wich freaks me out :S this is getting me very anxient
ugh thank you so much. i made such an idiot out of myself today... i saw a friend i havent seen in so long & said hi.. only i started to stutter and out of no where i was so lost. i didnt know what to do :( it's been getting alot worse my anxiety. maybe this will help, thank you!!
closing my eyes also helps me and going in water is what i do when i have a really bad anxiety attack it takes my mind off of my heart rate wich scares me alot and i do try breathing but i cant seem to take a deep breath ive even had heart arythmias but of course it was with coffe and energy drinks and sometimes my anxiety comes from no where ive never seen a doctor either for it .
this was so very helpful, as soon as you started talking about breathing, my lungs just seemed to respond and i almost immediately started feeling much more calm...i really want to master meditation, i think it would be so beneficial. thank you! =)
Very nice. All very good suggestions. Meditation, even for a few minutes every day, can make a world of difference too. This goes along with your statement about the nervous system and the need to soothe it. I recommend a book by Victor Davich entitled, 8-Minute Meditation. Everyone should be able to spare 8 minutes each day. Give it a shot. God bless and best wishes in overcoming your anxiety.
yes but I would only take it for acute attacks. I will not take it daily. You should speak to your doctor about which meds are right for YOU and YOUR circumstances.
