I dislike Chevy. The 4L60E is a flop, the 350 spins bearings and burns oil at higher mileages, even new Chevy trucks fail miserably on crash tests. I own one{best vehicle I've ever had} so I'm probably biased.

I know what you mean about the 90's models being low HP. They're special for me though. Their squareness gives them a taste of awesome. The thing I didn't like about the newer ones was the interior. Too round, but otherwise cool. The '08+ trucks are just too bulky. They're too tall. The top of the hood and bed is almost a foot too high for my taste.
