When I Googled my name, which actually happens to be "Ricardo Villalobos", I didn't know I would discover some interesting sounding music. Now when my friends ask me what I am listening to I say "Ricardo Villalobos". They don't believe me and I show them my iPod and they are amazed. They believe that I actually made the music, but I am too honest to keep the lie from continuing ;). Good stuff Ricardo. Keep giving us a good name. My father has the same name as us as well.

now let's be honest... ricardo's fabric work reminds me of hawtin's closer cd - i think they were both pretty fuckd up on drugs & couldn't really tell that they were making shite at the time but hey that's the creative business for ya - u cant produce masterpieces all the time. that's not 2 say he doesn't do gr8 work but this isnt it i'm afraid. it will go down as 1 of man's farts - 1 4 the diehards. that's not 2 say the style doesn't have a place or value - he has alota fans!!!

No chance, I saw about 10 Villalobos sets throughout the summer in Ibiza this year and he weren't impressive. So don't give it the big one when all I'm doing is giving an opinion, that's what the comments page is for isn't it?
