the music for this play is VERY, VERY DIFFICULT. also, the instrumentation is slightly awkward, since the writer didn't quite know what to do when it came to pairing instruments (aka, the violins with a high octave oboe O.o). Also, since its a pop opera, the music is continuous and it's very hard for musicians to have such endurance. i'm playing for a production of this right now and we're all college music majors in the orchestra and we barely make it through without any major catastrophes.
Wow the sax is so out of tune!!! Also he/she's not playing the part right. Lots of mistakes, and a few wrong notes. I know it's a high school play, but given how good the acting a singing is, there could have been a bit more practice from the orchestra.
i find it very odd the way kim sings "don't say a word.. just come with me.." like as if she's thinking "don't say a word and just come with me you damn american!" like as if she'd be sighing and rolling her eyes to get shit over with.. lol i don't know.. i thought at that part kim would be kind of attracted to chris and wants to be alone with him but i didn't get that sincere feeling here.. just a thought.. =/
they're frank. haha. especially Kim with the "I like him too." LOL.

The sax is pretty good.
The violins playing on the "E" string, especially when it's open E, provide a stark contrast to that.
