Im living on the outskirt of HCMC but studying at Saigon university(major in Business & Tourism English).I'm glad you all love it.Justynd were right, the streets are so polluted that I once got acnes when I was a freshman. But now I get used to it & know how to protect my face from air pollution lol.Strolling along the streets and seeing many vehicles move to and fro will give you a great experience :)Thank you guys and Welcome to Vietnam-the hiden charm.Thank Wolfganlindhorst again for your clip
Prosperity only exists in big cities in Vietnam like Hanoi and Saigon, but 80% of Vietnamese population live in poor, underdeveloped rural areas. While corrupt communist leaders like Prime minister Nguyen tan Dung and President Nguyen minh Triet are multi-billionaires, a regular Vietnamese earns only $1 per day. More than 200,000 Vietnamese women from poor families, many as young as ten, are working as prostitutes and sex slaves in China, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Korea.
After 30yrs away from VN, I went back for a visit during TET 08 and it was a wonderful experienced that I would not change for anything..I loved it, the whole city was ready for the new year, the lights, the decorations, the people...etc. I would recommend anyone to visit VN either during Tet or Chirstmas.. but be prepared for the worse air because there are too many motorbikes .
oh jaa.. da war ich letztes jahr, aber in diesem bereich ´kann man sich fast garnichts leisten. da gibts nur teure sachen. wart ihr auch mal in nha trang? da ist es vielleicht schön! :)
The TET holidays were really a wonderful experience.
Many shops and private houses decorated for "TET", they used mostly yellow flowers for the expression of "Blossom", I understand this is the meaning ofl a new, fresh beginning in the "New Year"....
