I know how you can do this ... most of this is very easy .. you must learn with boolean function or how it is name :D next step is only animations and keyframes with cubes speheres etc. ;-) letters at the and its hard and i dont know how can i do that...

@martinxerox at the end he got a spline in the shape of the path in which he wanted the letters to move, and added a text spline and the path spline into a spline nurb, then animated it to grow from 0% to 100 % hope this helps (:
