  • As an Argentine, I have to sadly admit that Maradona is a good representative for the country itself. Both (the country and the player) had a lot of wasted potential. Both generate in other people intense emotions: people either love them or hate them. This was an amazing goal (rightfully called the Goal of the Century), but he could have done much more.

  • @fedeborghesi estas siendo injusto con Maradona las cosas no se las hicieron facil

  • awesome goal from the greatest player ever to play the game but it wouldn't have happened if Bryan Robson was playing.

  • @bez189 maybe but then again we can speculate all we want on what would have happened but does not mean now does it?

  • awesome goal

  • 80mph!?) respect

  • Proof to why Pele was better.Look at 0:07, back when Pele used to play,Pele used to get foulded on purpose from behind because their was no yellow/red cards back when pele played.Maradona is able to do this becuase the english defender at 0:07 dosent want to foul Maradona becuase he would get a red card.back when Pele played that defenderat 0:07 would have taken down Pele from behind and their would have been no ejection. Pele Played when it was10X tougher because their were no red/yellow cards.

  • Go and watch Brazil Vs. Arg WC 1982 and you will see how brzialians were kicking Maradona from each side and no yellow cards given. The fact is up to 1993 the players were not protected, no one will forget MVB tragedy

  • @3edcvfr43edcvfr4 have you never seen the way pele was kicked out of the world cup

  • @madtie2 no I have not seen that because it did not happen. I saw the whole game against Portugal in 66 so he got fauled once during the game that was nothing compared to how Brazil fouled and kicked Maradona in Italia 90 and Brazil was already loosing by 2-0 against Portugal in a game they had to win when Pele was fouled. Maradona played Italia 90 with a broken ankle Pele just made excuses for himself in 66 coz he didnt play well

  • @3edcvfr43edcvfr4 and that was nothing the way Brazil fouled Maradona in Italia 90 was a total disgrace look out for a devasting tackle in the midfield when he was breaking away for a goal which today would be a red card for sure

  • Pelé only played against amateurs, in Brazil. So, he has no credit. He was just a goalscorer who scored against part-timers. Sorry.

  • @harrana2007 Pele has 77 goals in 92 appearances for Brazil (international games...games against proper pros). El Diez in 91 for Argentina has only 34.

  • @arnarchy1 so what he was a forward Maradona a midfield player and besides Muller scored 68 goals in 62 games for Germany

  • @harrana2007 and another thing I just read that some of the goals he gets credit for he scored while playing for his team in the military I wrote an article about Pele if you want to read it google "Truvianni, Pele"

  • @wrightnum3 Maradona also got fouled on purpose and so what if their was a yellow card it did not stop them from fouling him and when Pele played their were no cards but players could still get ejected from the game. Also Pele played in a time when more goals were scored in 58 they scored 126 goals in 35 games so it clearly was a much more open game. In 2010 for instnace they scored 145 goals in 64 games. Fontaine in that world cup who was not even that good scored 13 goals in 6 games for France

  • greatest goal ever scored. search for jimmy macgee's commentary for this goal. sums the man up perfectly

  • maGODona

  • Awesome, pitty he'd already cheated but cant take anything away from this goal.

  • Aye, like the goal that never was in the 66 final. Don't hear many people talking about that.

God bless the hand of God.

  • That goal went over the line video evidence has prooved it.

  • @98smithg actually no offense but digital video has proven the whole plain of the ball did not go in meaning no goal and the fourth one also should not count as fans were coming on to the pitch and there was confusion with many German players even thinking the game was over. even the English radio anouncer thought the game was over

  • @bolexdude and if you notice one thing it was not really on the counter attack so the English were waiting for him

  • @crugga everybody cheats look at Henry's hand against Ireland in 2009 or Rivaldo's pretending to get hit in the head with a ball against Turkey to get a player sent off in 2002

  • no digas dios... di maradona

  • @edsoninc esta buena

  • quel tipo ha lo spirito!

  • maradona=god

  • capo
