  • I would suggest a larger pull-tab (Para-cord braid, etc...) for quicker stress-type access to the compartment you carry your firearm in. Also its probably a good idea if you dont already to practice with the bag at a range.

  • nice setup bro! i HATE those energizer lights, though lol. such a pain in the ass having to click through all the modes. check out the streamlight nano!

  • With all those electronics you should invest in one of those Nomad, solar power stations... they are the same size as your ipad and will power everything you have.

  • Awesome video!

  • great review boss keep em up

  • Great EDC man... cool items indeed!

Keep it up the good work!

I'm a system architect so i will be looking forward for the techie videos!

  • Car alarm set off at night is a really good Idea. I've never thought of that use. Thanks.

  • great video, what about some reflective armbands so you don't get hit by a car in the dark when you're going for your bus.

  • Really cool bag and nice EDC setup. I also love my XD9sc, great pistol.

  • I like everything but emp and you my be dead in the water hell a drop in a good size puddle and you mite be dead in the water think paper back up I like it though

  • yes an emp that encompasses the globe, god you're dumb.

  • @BlankDarkblade yes they have one of those... its called a solar flare. The portability of electronics is great but having the books in dead tree as backup is a must. One thing I did not see him pull out of the bag was a battery backup... so a very real situation would be that his devices run out of juice. I'd suggest getting a "Juice Bar" or some other solar charger.

  • and what if we get emp lets see your electronic work then dip shit

  • Just wanted to say the only true sniper rifle is a gun with a TRAINED sniper behind it just cuz you have a rifle with a $500 scope on it dont make you a"SNIPER"

  • U can tell this guy is a computer nerd when he has a laptop, phone, and iPad in his survival kit.

  • lets hope that the disaster that you are needing doesnt happen whilst your 'survival' bag is locked in a locker at work. Do us all a favour mate, take this bag, go outdoors into the middle of nowhere, and live there for a week with only just this pack, then you will see just how 'useful' most of this stuff really is.

  • Dude...if a disaster hits while your on the road with that bag...all your fancy little gadgets will be worthless!..Something to store all your personal info is a good idea...but a laptop?....ipad?....voice recorder?...pretty toys, but some snickers bars and fire starters will keep you alive longer than the ipad. No offense, just had to bust your techie balls LOL. Nice gun though!...I LOVE Sringfield XD.....The XDs is coming out in March....I'm snatching one up quick!

  • MERICA

  • its the true man purse. although id leave alot of those gadgets out

  • What the hell is with Computer techs thinking they need to carry the entire house with them? 4 pocket knives? Really? And you have a thunderbolt, you dont need to carry a camera, ipad, ipod, and voice recorder. Believe it or not there is an app for that.

  • Wow awesome and I do mean awesome video. You are very good behind the camera. Great first video look forward to more.

  • lol 10:40 or 10:41 "two extra rounds of magazines haha"

  • Really great video..!! Thanks for sharing. You have a bad ass cover for your macbook pro. What type is it & where can i get one?

  • How does this bag weight? Great video by the way and greeting from Brazil!!

  • lol, velcro wallet

  • Sorry dude but as I see you carry way too mutch with your self. And one of the greatest defects of this pack is that what happens if there is no electricity? This is the most common problem with US folks. Great pack by the way I loved the video!

  • @kockac0101 Buy a portable solar panel, problem solved.

  • I would get some pepper spray better to use a less lethal option so you dont get in legal trouble for shooting someone or something like that

  • i LOVE the EDC kits, they are, in my opinion better then a " Bug Out Bag" and such. Thos are perfectly fine to have but if its at your house while you at work a mile away! Youn might not get home to get that bag, Thus SCREWED, so anyway, good overall kit, but idk what you think about this but if you were in a survival situation, you might have to ditch your electronics that wont do good, it wieght that can slow you down and can get you killed.

  • hahah I can tell that your from up north because of the way you say "bag/bayg" hahaha how do you say, lake? "layke"?

  • Can I take you one question ... ??? ... Your job is criminal policeman or police technic ???

ooou ... and your face was on yout I pad display :D ....

  • just watched your video....I see that you like the electronics, by any chance do you carry extra charging cords, mini solar panels, car light adaptors?

  • great bag - the only suggestion i would make is to find some way of protecting the electronics from EMP -i think large anti static bags would work -maybe multiple bags and i don t know if grounding is necessary -i have all the same e books on i phone -what i also have is a copy of the sas survival manual in mini book format -gem Collins pocket book -it is really small and only needs to be kept dry -people have to think low tech in a primitive environment -i hope it helps

  • nice, how much is that bag?

  • wtf, you carry all of those things every day ?

  • Lots of shiny toys. Nice for urban survival.

  • "quiet time with my music" = that would be an oxymoron lol. Great vid though, im thinking of getting the springfield xdm....

  • we know its durable the way u throw that stuff

  • desent vid.

  • 9:23 quiet time with your music?

  • Why carry so many knives and a couple of multitools as well which has blades as well on it? Weight would be a factor with everything else you have, i just don't get carrying multiples of the same basic tools

  • Really good video. I really like the "modern" aspect of it. Ipad for informative information stored, external drive for back up, spare phone. I'm just assuming spare batteries.

You might wanna stick in some energy bars in case you need to be away for a couple of days but damn nice bag and well selected for modern urban EDC.

  • ok im from the country so maybe this is why i dont get but whyd yall have to have 4 difrrent ipad and a computer wouldnt just one of them do all of it

  • really? an IPAD in your kit? because those never run out of battery...

  • Good job Brother, just by your purchases I can tell we watched many of the same vids. I can see that your a big boy so the weight factor of your EDC has not bothered you yet. I do see a little bit of redundancy in your EDC though. Now don't get me wrong as far as prepping goes 2=1&1=none. but, in an EDC you don't need 3 folding knives. The "Tacticool" factor will be lost when you are forced to walk home carrying a bag of stuff you "might need" and don't have things you "do need" (outofcharacters)

  • Wao Awesome,i need one with inflatable bed...

  • great video man. Did the universal holster and mag pouch come with the bag or was that extra?

  • Nice vid! "My opinion only"...you have a smartphone...ditch the ipod (Pandora, slacker radio, etc. Plus mp3 ability)....ditch the voice recorder (your phone does that too,if you use it a lot just put the icon on your home page)....in their place add a couple cliff bars (you never know when you need a munchie from your edc) and I agree with others about the solar charger or cell block for backup charge of electronics....no shtf stuff....just handy stuff I carry just in case, always need my juice!

  • THIS WAS POSTED ON MY BIRTHDAY :D

  • Im ready to see some more vids i hope you keep the coming

  • well the laptop cell phone i pad and any kind of tec that he had will make nice hammers or fire material why if shtf why would pepole give use means to communicate with one another. if your hunting a pig you dont give the pig means to group. lol love the xd though got a .40 xd sc

  • Nice camera you're using!

  • That bag is Awesome! Its now on my list. BTW, If you like the XD then you'll love the XDM 9mm 3.8 Compact. They look VERY similar. I love mine. Flush mags hold 13+1 and extended mags hold 19+1. I was torn between the Glocks in 9mm and the Springfield in 9mm but since police no longer use 9mm I went w/ the XDM which had better reviews & higher capacity mags. I have a Glock Sub2000 (which was broke from the factory and still is) so I'm considering a Glock now. Do you have any experience w/ Glocks?

  • crazy bag... any reason why u have an HTC phone vs the Iphone??? you seem to have everything else Apple... Just wondering

  • @jujurock64 Basically I wanted 4G connection speed and the larger 4.3" screen but I will definitely switch back to the iPhone if the next model offers a larger screen with 4G. Thank you for watching.

  • I decided to watch this again after seeing your last video. Lol. I really do like the way you've set this bag up. Two things I thought of suggesting to add was a stainless steel cup in the water bottle pocket (the bottle will sit in it) and a Columbia River Knife and Tool (CRKT) Guppie to compliment your leatherman wave. They're just a few handy items I carry in my EDC bag.

  • cool bag...i love my Jumbo Versipack...if you get a chance you should try 1....Holy shit, i didnt expect you to pull a computer out of there...lol

  • Thats a nice EDC. dont get discouraged by the negative comments my friend. Its usually the ones that discredit videos like these that get caught in survival situations. Either they carry way too many items and hinder their own survival, or they dont pack an efficient EDC. To each his own, not every situation will be the same.So not all EDCs will be the same. Depends on the person's personal preference or situation/surroundings.Thanks for the video. Keep up the great work. And lets see some more!

  • manpurse

  • Kool gun

  • What kind of wallet is that

  • i strongly advise that if you are carrying to do so on your immediate person because it would be a really bad to for somone to snatch your bag...at least if you have your weapon on hand you can get to it faster and not risk someone running off with your whole entire life...cool vid tho

  • @6muffinstuffer9 why are shit talkers always the guys with zero videos?

  • One question, why do you have an ipod when you have a smart phone? I got the android style phone because applications are for the most part free, and it got rid of one electronic piece I had so I no longer need an mp3 player I just use my phone as a media player now.

  • Survival...we have an app for that.

  • Its very nice to see another survivalist that has an interest in computers. Thanks

  • Keep in mind one very realistic possibility/scenario is an EMP attack which would immediately fry all your electronic gear. Have a contingency plan for a no electronic environment as well. ie... map and compass if the gps fries. Your vehicle would no longer work and the roads, bridges and tunnels would be gridlock. Can you walk home in a timely fashion? If not consider a bike, rollerblades, etc..in your trunk. I work in NYC and live in CT. When TSHTF I'll have to negotiate 125 miles of pure hell

  • Oh and all these comments about"Dooode when the zombie apocalypse happens you'll be the first to go,cause your knife doesn't cost as much as mine..."Maybe, maybe not, if you check out real disasters, half the time an old fat grey haired granny lady will make it, when a young superstud gets greased...any gear that will help you get home is good enuf....In the end it's all a roll of the dice anyway. Our ancestors made do with sharp rocks, what they wouldn't have given for one of those "cheap"knives

  • OK, I see a lot of people who comment that this is not a young pioneers wilderness kit, With axes and saws and tents...He said it in the title, folks , it does have some get back home items, but it's mainly EVERY DAY CARRY. Everybody carries different stuff, for different reasons, and not everybody needs the same stuff...but I get a kick out of checkin out other people's gear, I may agree or not on one item or another, but it's his gear , people...

  • why are all these edc vids done by nerdy ass fuckin pussys

  • Make another video.youre good at it.

  • what apps do you have? i have an iphone.

  • Good vid man keep them coming. The only thing I noticed is that you have a lot of redundencies in your bag. There are several knives multiple digital devices two different places where you keep tylenol even (plus others). What about food items? Take a few of the items you have more than two of out and ad a bag of nuts, grannola bars, or something else. If you are worried enough in your urban area to carry all those thing you should have a bit of food as well. Just my two cents worth of opinion.

  • ferfal rip off

  • Nice video, great bag!

  • If you are going to CCW, GET RID OF ALL THE SNIPER PATCH. You want ANY PACK / MAN PURSE to look very VANILLA and non threatening so the bad guys won´t scope lock on your bag while you are getting to your weapon.

I use a Maxpedition Fatboy for CCW and chose a color that looks like a typical CAMERA BAG. When you use black or ¨Tactical¨ colors all you do is draw attention to yourself and your bag.

    Just a thought.

  • wtf am i the only one who saw the tattoo

  • when can we expect a new video?

  • good video, i cant wait for the computer videos.. im struggling how to encrypt my files, im making my own edc but the uk one will be limited and i dont know what to put on my channel, also 37 rounds :O dont you think thats excessive haha , good video keep em coming

Buffffff.

  • Good video, I hope to see more.

  • Have you thought about waterproofing your tech?

  • like your vid! but what if the power runs out? you should have a small solar system with you.

as you say you are a modern day survivalist;)

  • Bro, you seriously need to make more videos. This was a sick review and I want more from you! This is AWESOME!

  • make more videos

  • dude with a bag that big you should be packin a sw 500 :)

  • Really good video, I have just ordered some gear from Maxpedition. And yeah, get the solar charger

  • x2 on the solar charger.

  • Very nice my friend...very nice.

  • do u have any why of charging all your electronics i think u should get one of those solar powerd chargerd just incase the power went out

  • please another vid man hurry

  • PLEASEEEE make another video asap im subscribed and have been waiting 2 months... thank you

  • nice vid, the hand gun/pistol is the only thing iam missing from my kit

  • Um I purpose of this bag to get u home think u forgot some thing like maybe a gps and map all I'm saying might need to know where you are going and how to get there all I'm saying good video

  • Comment removed

  • @blkwulff - Thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment. I live in a metro area and have no problem finding my way home but to answer your comment, my phone and iPad both utilize Maps and GPS apps if I were to get lost. My vehicle also has plenty of regular maps if technology fails me. My bug out bag in my vehicle also has back up maps and also a compass if I did happen to get lost, but once again not really a concern I have.

  • @moderndaysurvivalist good video,quite informative !

  • @blkwulff wouldnt put too much faith in GPS.

  • lol the gun is empty bang noo my htc lol good vid

  • Comment removed

  • @MyCallofdutypro - I find it funny that people think the gun is going to put a bullet through something when I pulled the trigger considering the fact that took out the magazine and also emptied the chamber. I am trained on the use of a firearm and practice gun safety. Guns don't kill, people do. Thanks for watching.

  • Good vid! Looking forward to new videos!

  • Pretty darn cool Spyderco is a fine knife and the XD is great. And ya, its wwhat you carry every day, not what you would have if everything went to hell, so, excellent stuff. I do think you should prolly add some quikclot though. And if you get a chance, you should delete the posts of those 2 retards arguing

  • u are a true edc guy great vid u gave me some great ideas u should get some more vids up soon

  • Very nice vid but as i always like to say carry a non lethal option (stun gun, baton, mace, etc) if you are a CCW holder because you do not want to limit yourself to lethal options (gun, knife etc) Options are good. good first vid.

    Training Trumps Gear.

  • @TheAggiedude Thank you... I think of it more as a modern computer bag. Wait until I post my videos of the rest of my Maxpedition collection and then you can really make fun of me for carrying a Murse (man purse). LOL.

  • This EDC bag is not a SHTF bag so if the Internet, power and everything else goes to hell I will be in my Bug-Out location with my SHTF gear. This video was not meant to say that this is my survival gear. It is just what I carry with me on a daily basis. I have a SHTF bag in my car, home and bug-out location.

  • @genericmember1234 This EDC bag is not a SHTF bag so if the Internet, power and everything else goes to hell I will be in my Bug-Out location with my SHTF gear. • To all the HATERS on YouTube... go suck on a pair of nuts. This isn't a survival kit or a bug out bag it is what I carry on a everyday basis, hence the name EDC. What will I do when the power goes out in a SHTF situation? I am going to read a frickin' book and light a candle. New videos soon, I promise.

  • @moderndaysurvivalist Hell Yeah! Well said!

  • @moderndaysurvivalist Mate you should remember that yt is a public forum and as such you'll find ppl who don't agree with you. Just because someone doesn't agree with you on something doesn't mean they're a hater

  • 5 hr energy is good idea

  • Nice vid..I like what u have n the edc bag..but I really see nothing but he gun that will help u if the SHTF REALLY....BUT great frist vid man subin now....

  • EDC is meant for conceal carry for personal protection, not to be ready for geek wars. I don't think you are ready for anything unless there is a computer shortage, or a need for multiple cheap pocket knives. Better upgrade and stop buying cheap crap, i'd put money on you being one of the first to go if the shit hit the fan.

  • Great job man, especially for your first video. I'm still working up the nerve to do my first one, and your effort has inspired me to get my butt in gear...nice job!

  • Great 1st video. Alot of good information. Look foward to more vids.

  • I throughly enjoyed your video. I had to laugh because I have the same bag and almost the same gear! Glad to see I'm not the only one. Looking forward to your next video. Would like to see the Ipad one...I carry a NOOK and a Kindle and would like some info on the Ipad. Great Job!

  • Is it a EDC bag or survivalist bag?other than the gun, knives and leatherman i see an office bag.?What happens to you when the batteries run out.? Do you have another bag that has a water purification, food, stove or any way to prepare your food, fire starter.shelter,etc..etc..Don't get me wrong you have some cool shit there but...?

  • i hate my xd-40sc

  • great video

  • @bwarrior this is an EDC video. It's not supposed to be about survival, it's what he carries day to day. I enjoyed it and look forward to his future videos.

  • In my opinion you rely too much on technology and would be sol with out all that electronic stuff. None of that has anythingto do with survival.

  • @bwarrior I think he did a great job...

  • That gander mountain like is awesome! great price too!

  • Dude u spend way too much money

  • what' the point of having a i pad and a laptop

  • Great vid! That bag must be very heavy will all the gear?

  • Your first YouTube video is alot better than mine. Good kit too.

  • if shtf im goin to cabelas and just gonna set up there

  • @fuscojordan I think I'll take wal-mart then!

  • Great gear. Just curious, but does this go in your car?

Do you have any plans of where to travel to if the SHTF if you're at work, or at home? I'm just curious as to what situations this bag is designed to help you in, as it doesn't seem to have much food or water.

    Check out my BOB :)

  • great hi teck EDC thanks for shareing

  • Great first video! I digg your choice of EDC pack/bag. Seems to suite what you need very nice.. Lets see some more vids! :)

  • Please do make the promised vids on security tips for portable hard drives, & on your HTC Thunderbolt. Are you thinking about switching to Droid Bionic on 9/8?

  • Good stuff. Do some more vids. Security would be good.

  • My EDC bag at this time is a black Maxpedition Monsoon Gearslinger.... I like it because it is slim and compact a holds quite a bit. This is a great kit brother. Looking forward to future videos.

  • Great first vid, love your kit, and the system you are running to carry it all. Quick question as I'm unfamiliar with US gun laws, Are you allowed to keep a fire arm in a storage locker at your place of work ?

  • @dude157 it all depends on your worksite and what laws or rules that are followed. For me, I am self-employed and own my office.

  • I have a few Maxpedition bags including the Aggressor Attaché that fits my 17" MBP. The amount of space is very generous. Love your video.

  • Thats good but I would personally go for a bag that is less "tactical" looking.

  • cool vid

  • Really cool video. Look forward to those network-comp security videos and the external hard drive encryption software tools. I carry one on my EDC bag but it only has music. Been looking for an encryption software (mac user), not sold on any yet. Consider the Fenix PD30 for your primary flashlight, check out YouTube's reviews, a bit pricey but small and powerful.

  • very cool but SOOO illegal in australia. if you wer to bring that bag in public and had you bag checked, you would go to prison for agees...

  • nice vid... instead of the surefire flashlight you can go with 4sevens or Fenix lights they are great lights! at a somewhat lower price.

  • @trocha419 he can also try some ledlenser as well very cheap very reliable

  • @trocha419 Thank you for the comment. I will check in to the 4sevens flashlights as I have not heard of that brand before. I do love the Fenix and Surefire but the price is a deal breaker for me right now.

  • @trocha419 Thank you for the comment. I will check in to the 4sevens flashlights as I have not heard of that brand before. I do love the Fenix and Surefire but the price is a deal breaker for me right now.

  • @moderndaysurvivalist what are you going to do if all internet goes out and all power

    in a shtf situation

  • @georgemlive This EDC bag is not a SHTF bag so if the Internet, power and everything else goes to hell I will be in my Bug-Out location with my SHTF gear. This video was not meant to say that this is my survival gear. It is just what I carry with me on a daily basis. I have a SHTF bag in my car, home and bug-out location.

  • @moderndaysurvivalist you should do a shtf video

  • You should make more videos. You're objective, to the point, and interesting. Thumbs up.

  • i get wanting to be prepared, but that is over kill. i could cut half that gear. you get the idea that you need to have what you'll need, but you can cut down a lot. also, the ipad? if shit goes down, you wont have a grid to rely on so instead of apps, get survival card if you want quick reference material. the military makes some very good one, and its just a deck of cars with QR. some of that stuff would be great in a trunk bag. try and slim down and redistribute. but not a bad start

  • and why the hell do you have a loaded and chambered gun bouncing around in a pouch? if you carry, you secure the weapon.

  • @pmkmw1 This Maxpedition bag uses strong velcro in the conceal carry pocket and I use a Universal Holster and magazine holder. I could throw this bag off a roof of a building and trust me, my weapon would not fall out of the holster. I agree about the eBook vs. Print idea but I do also have print copies of the books I consider essential to prepping and survival. I do use every thing in this bag on a regular/daily basis. Thank you for watching!

  • Great video, can't wait to see more from you!

  • very nice first video , keep going with all your god knowledge. you must get a solar charger system for ll your electronic stuff , its probably one of the most important thing missing in your kit.

    have a nice day .

  • that is a nice set up u have there .

  • great first video looking forward to more !!!

  • Great video. There are millions of EDC videos out there and about the same number of prepping videos. I buy into a good portion of the preparedness mindset but I don't think it's tempered enough with actual day to day city living. I appreciate guys like you and TheUrbanPrepper who seem to temper your prepping with real world living. Most of us live out our lives in a technology based environment so I'm really looking forward to your videos on technology security. Again, great video!

  • Well done!

  • Lol, I have that same S&W knife. Great first video.

  • I suggest (since you are CCW) that you carry some kind of trauma kit. Maybe even as simple as a pressure dressing with some quikclot, celox or hemcon. Get some training if you don't feel comfortable. Other than that, great video

  • Great video! I have the same exact bag but in the form of the Knife Collector's Bag which is virtually the same sans the water bottle pocket. Definitely looking forward to your future videos on network security. Good to have you on YouTube!

  • Great EDC bag! You have a ton of great items in there. How much does your bag weigh when fully loaded? I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the topics you mentioned, such as digital encryption, home security cameras, and other computer related gear. I think I may need to get me one of those Maxpedition Tactical Attache Bag. It is really slick. Subscribed.
