  • Such a pleasure to listen.

    Great.

  • Is there anything this Scotsman can do without making it really special?

He has got to be truly recognized in one way or another. Please Dear

Lord, may it NOT be posthumously. It seems so many artists of his

nature have to die to be noticed more. Please not Midge! May he be noticed (Especially here in the states) NOW

  • @OPTIMISPOOH come across you nice words to midge, thanks to everyone who place a good word on this man he is truly a genious and deserves so much more credit, love and respect.keep it up!

  • now Midge & Lulu doing a duet - fantastic....

  • ok....

  • love midge. he's sexy hair or no hair. love you mister ure. thanks for being such a good mate.

  • Sorry but in my eyes this Glasgow boy can do no wrong !!

  • love his voice

  • Who was the first to sing it: Midge Ure or Kurt Cobain? Or maybe someone else?

  • I guess it was David Bowie first -

then Kurt Cobain - then Midge Ure.

"Man who sold the world" is also on the "Maxi B-Side" of Midge Ure´s No. 1 smash hit "If I was"

  • Midge/Ultravox was pre Nirvana with this tune - but appreciate your admiration

  • @Warren242 wrong, wrong..... Bowie, Lulu, Midge, Curbain... :)

  • @GvWeir

Thanks for correction - Lulu? Never heard....

  • Lulu.

  • @HaganDave It was originally written and released by David bowie way back in '71.

Then it was covered by Kurt Cobain and some other singers and Midge Ure just this y2000+
