The yellow one is a '62. At that time it was owned and driven by Dennis MacDonald (D-Mac). He got it into the 8's at that event. It is a tube chassis car.
That is PJ Heck from Ohio. He's running ultra rare Pontiac Ram Air Five tunnel port heads from 1969. Car is a real rare super duty Catalina standard shift. He really knows how to make the Pontiacs fly. Been doing it for many years before any of the modern builders and aftermarket parts sources were around. Next time I see him I'll tell him to watch the video, he will like it.

The big yellow one at the start does a 9.14 et1/4 mile run. The blue one's et is dialed in at 10.12
