I too play the Valve trombone but the horizontal valves crimp my wrist and can numb my first two fingers. I'm looking for a Canted-Valve trombone and Trumpet so my hand in in a relaxed position. Maybe I was made to play the clarinet and Sax which I'm currently learning for the finger positions to learn scales. Aside from the marching Trombones, who makes a Custom Trumpet or T-Bone
with angled valves sloped towards 4:00pm so I don't get cramps?? anybody please.
This song is beautiful. I enjoy playing the valved trombone. Its better for me because I have become acustomed to the trumpet, baritone horn, and French horn (French Horn rules) My next instrument is probably going to be the Flugelhorn or the Mellophone (or both) You can probably tell that I want to be a great brass player.

@Wouldman2 Go for a rotary valve trombone, the valve way is also much shorter, I play one in C ,big bore , made by Wenzl & Meinl in 1960
