  • i need this awd swap on my b18c eg8. how much does this run to have you complete?

    i can source some parts

  • is the rwd/4wd running gear out of another car eg. a crv or is it all custom made?

  • thats bs u get more speed less torq when using just a rear end out of a awd car so no 435 torq maybe 235 at max i use to work for a subaru performance garage and have done many rear only drive subie's and if u dont have a trans built for the rear end out put gear ratios u have a slower car off the line but faster top speed

  • @biggdaddy2001 That is actually not correct. The torque is measured at the wheels on the dyno. The car was also dyno tuned in FWD configuration and put out over 500 ft-lbs of torque.

  • whats done it to?

  • I would make my civic a 4wd if i had one

  • What are the advantages if any of using this kind of dyno compared to the conventional one we see most often used with the rollers?

  • @JxPhan Dynapack Dynos are significantly safer to use. The car can not jump off the rollers because the wheels are removed from the equation.

You can also remove the issue of traction when tuning and save folks from ruining tires making dyno runs.

The system is completely hydraulic and makes no noise, doesn't need a pit dug to house it, runs off a 110 line, and uses a standard garden hose for cooling.

Overall, superior engineering to other dynos.

  • hell oh no for 90k u can get a gtr.. fuck that how ever spend 90k on a dyno just to use it is stupid..

  • Comment removed

  • probably around 560whp, being that this dyno measured the power at the hubs. and AWD has a bigger drivetrain loss than FF or FR, or RR cars.

  • @joescivic Our dyno is very comparable (within 1-2% usually which is statistically irrelevant) in power figures to roller dynos. It is a myth that Dynapack Dynos "read higher" than other dynamometers.

  • @EvansTuningDotCom Not trying to offend you or anything, but hows it a myth? Ive see people dyno the exact car back to back with the dynapack reading higher? Again im not trying to get flamed for asking just interested.

  • @zooflagette Conditions such as air temperature, elevation, and the way the dyno is calibrated can alter a reading. We've done back to back tests with other dynamometers in our area to confirm our numbers read within 1-2%.

Aside from that our numbers have been proven at the track by hundreds of our dyno tuning customers.

  • @EvansTuningDotCom put the car on a real dyno like a Mustang and lets hear the numbers then.

  • @andrewhans This comment doesn't make sense.

  • great build! now go and crush some evo skulls! muwhahahah!

  • nice!!!!

  • This car was featured in HondaTuning magazine. Very nice car and conversion.

  • what are the specific mods done to this civic to convert it to 4WD ....... please message me !!!!!!!!!!

  • I should be up at Evans getting a tune once creg done with my build I hear nothing but the best from Evans tuning so ill be setting an appointment once my motors done from epic big shout out to epic tuning an Jeff Evans tuning !!!!!!!!!!

  • 90k for the dynapak not the car setup

  • what is the conversion to do this i did it in a 91 civic and used the 91 wagon drivetrain but never in a 92-95

  • Hey Evans Tuning, Any videos of this on the street or track?

  • 4WD Civic? What Evan?

  • how much is a basic 4wd dynapack costing?

  • @jasaircraft Unsure of the cost for a basic AWD Dynapack. This particular Dynapack configuration is close to about 90K, and is by far a better dynamometer system than competing dyno offerings.

  • @EvansTuningDotCom 90 thousand dollars for a AWD transformation?, not counting on the engine, i was thinking of getting the AWD tranny of a 1998 CR-V and putting it in a Honda Civic VTI 1998 (SI for USA) would that work?

  • @ssportugal The response we gave regarding $90k is the cost of the dyno being used, not the conversion on the Civic.

  • @EvansTuningDotCom ohh oki, so could you answer to my question please? i really need to know if the tranny from a 1998 CR-V would fit in a 1998 Civic VTI (Si for USA) with the B16A2 engine, thanks in advance

  • @ssportugal You would need to talk to Epic Tuning about the conversion. We only tuned this car after it was built.

  • @EvansTuningDotCom Oh oki thanks =)

  • @ssportugal yes it would will fit any B

    series motor

  • How did they do that!? I want to learn!

  • what the fucking fuck?

  • WOW!!!...i just gotta ticket in my Civic Si exhaust,i wish i could show the Judge this video in court.Great werk guys, ive always Loved your channel as the best for import power and tuning here on Youtube.thank you again form a country Tuner here in Texas

  • @63echo hey, i'd argue it in court too, motorcycles are as loud or louder right? they say, they need to be cause sometimes they can't be seen.. well, u want to be seen right..besides, if u are seen, less chance that people gonna hit u cause they see u.

  • good work..
