The Honda couldn't dream of going where the Polaris could, and in mud, the AWD Polaris left the Honda in the dust. However, over a few years, the Polaris ranked up quite a costly repair bill while the Honda never needed more then basic maintenance. Can't speak for everyone, but Honda has a rep for long lasting bikes up here.

thats a newer forman. it has a arms in the front. (which means no straight axle) and the gear really dont matter when the tires are spinin like that but if they do happen to gab then any axle can be fucked up.

@XxStaticKillaxX well, i didn't feel like explaining it to you, but, here goes...yes you can break rear axles(yes i'm talking about solid axles). they aren't as fragile as the front cv's, but they can and will break. and nothing in the engine will be harmed if a rear axle gets in a bind. there is a clutch connecting the engine to the drivetrain, so, the clutch might be damaged, but your motor is safe. and as far as cv's, excessive wheelspin is the number 1 snapper. do your homework, kiddo.
@trx500fm1 you just proved yourself wrong.the clutch that goes to your back axle will burn up before your axle breaks.it happened to me before and it fried my whole motor.your whole 4wheeler will shut off before your axle breaks if it in too much of a bind because the clutch cant handle it.to fix that problem you go buy a mudclutch.or take out the clutch and replace the spring with a harder spring to cause a delay so your tires spin at a higher RPM.the only axle's i seen break were on honda's.

@XxStaticKillaxX horsepower to constantly break axles. so you're telling "big fish stories" pal. and there is no "clutch that goes to your back axle". there is a clutch on the engine's output shaft that delivers power to an input on the transmission. then the tranny can send that power through a transfer system, to the front and rear driveshafts, or, in your case(with your raggedy kawi bayou) to the rear drive shaft. and it has nothing to do with gears, because it's normally the outer cv's that

dude take your shit out of 2nd gear your bike is sluggin tryin to spin them outlaws, your bike is geared lower in 1st gear and u should be in that gear..if you leave your front tires bouncin your gunna snap axles

you are retarded are sumtin.that bike has a straight shaft in the back(cant break an axle)and the front.Those tires aren't grabin anything to snap and axle.and if your tires are spinnin like that.your stuck and it dont matter what gear you are in.

thats a newer forman. it has a arms in the front. (which means no straight axle) and the gear really dont matter when the tires are spinin like that but if they do happen to gab then any axle can be fucked up.

@trx500fm1 ok.i worded it wrong that year ago.u cant break in the axle in the back.its almost impossible.you'll mess up the motor before you break an axle.and if the cv shafts in the front arnt caught in a bind they wont break.

@XxStaticKillaxX well, i didn't feel like explaining it to you, but, here goes...yes you can break rear axles(yes i'm talking about solid axles). they aren't as fragile as the front cv's, but they can and will break. and nothing in the engine will be harmed if a rear axle gets in a bind. there is a clutch connecting the engine to the drivetrain, so, the clutch might be damaged, but your motor is safe. and as far as cv's, excessive wheelspin is the number 1 snapper. do your homework, kiddo.

@trx500fm1 you just proved yourself wrong.the clutch that goes to your back axle will burn up before your axle breaks.it happened to me before and it fried my whole motor.your whole 4wheeler will shut off before your axle breaks if it in too much of a bind because the clutch cant handle it.to fix that problem you go buy a mudclutch.or take out the clutch and replace the spring with a harder spring to cause a delay so your tires spin at a higher RPM.the only axle's i seen break were on honda's.

@XxStaticKillaxX you fried your whole motor when the clutch burned up? okay, dude, i'm gonna call bullshit. the clutch failure has NOTHING to do with engine failure. buy a mudclutch? what the fuck is a mudclutch? every clutch kit for atv's is nothing more than different weights, and stiffer springs. i own a 5-speed foreman with an epi clutch kit installed on it. and the tires don't turn at any different rpm. the motor spins a little faster before clutch engagement. and honda's don't have the

@XxStaticKillaxX horsepower to constantly break axles. so you're telling "big fish stories" pal. and there is no "clutch that goes to your back axle". there is a clutch on the engine's output shaft that delivers power to an input on the transmission. then the tranny can send that power through a transfer system, to the front and rear driveshafts, or, in your case(with your raggedy kawi bayou) to the rear drive shaft. and it has nothing to do with gears, because it's normally the outer cv's that
