@hcsfchick Kemp was never a high-scoring PF, but he could do it all. Griffin is a great talent, but he has a ways to go; he's relying on pure raw athleticism at this point. I don't see the Clippers becoming a true contender until he becomes more consistent and more of a force on both ends of the floor. His scoring average doesn't need to increase much, but his scoring variety has to improve.

Blake Griffin may be a great playr one day, we will have to see, hes no Shawn Kemp. Kemp played 33mins and took only 12-13 shots a game, hes a team player and a defender, something Blake needs alot of improvement in. Blakes playing 38 mins and taking 16-17 shots a game so the stats dont matter much. I know the sonics were winning more games, Clippers SHOULD be winning more with the lineups they've had but cant. The dunks Blake has a an inch or too leap on Shawn but not the style or the swagger

everyone likes to talk about LeBron James being a huge guy and can fly (which he can) but Kemp was doing it when James was going to reccess. The dude was strong as it gets in the NBA and could fly out of the gym. He also had a good jumper when Seattle faced Jordans Bull's in 96'. Should be a HOF despite his drug, alcohol, and weight problem. If the MLB can consider guys who did perfomance enhancing drugs, the NBA should recognize those that did performance reducing drugs!
