  • my pc's better and that one looks like shit

  • intel ruls u AMD idiots

  • I was waiting for a bluescreen xD

  • TOO LOUD!!!!

  • ....and just 4 years later a shitty $500 PC owns this

  • @AquaInertia Don't be so sure....

  • My cock has five cores and runs like a turbo diesel dodge ram motor

  • Wow that's really good

  • thats the point! if you setup a PC like thisone in the video, you dont buy only 4GB - if you realy want to WORK (not play) with you PC you need a lot of power to work with your apps the best way. so i need the 16GBram if i want to rampreview a huge animationscene for example, its also a question of time, how many time you got for your work/project. the most people dont need a PC, a netbook would do the same for their interests, i need a pc to work with not to do usual stuff

  • awseome fail !

2 quadcores and 4 grafixcards but useless 4GB ram on the board :D

    is this selfownage ?!

or just the proof that these dude had no idea WTF to do, and how to setup a system ...

  • @dafinga666 The guy talking in the video had no clue as to what he was pointing too. Back then Quad SLi was not available yet, Hell even Tri Sli was not available yet. Also this was a year before Phenom was even a twinkle in AMD's eye, this system was based on two opteron dual cores. I kept up with this video for a few years now, and I love hearing how confused this guy makes people. To this day people are still confused because this guy had no clue what he was looking at! lol funny eh?! lol

  • @dafinga666 wait what? RAM is not useless.

  • @zingmars in this machine is it useless ! he got many components and still no ram in there !!!

i got 16GB ram in my mac and everything under 8GB is useless standarduser bullshit. but hey its ok, the most people dont know what a real computer looks like and got there stonetime XPmachine with maximum 3GB ...

so yes - the ram in this machine is useless couse its the first point which going down when it comes to calculation

  • @dafinga666 wait, what?

What is the point of even having more than 4GB if there's like no way you're ever gonna use them all.

Yeah well Windows 7 uses 1GB, games use 1GB tops too, streaming, firefox and such might take at 1GB most. Well and the last GB can go to integrated GPU ( if you got one ) or it can be idle for what-if situations.

16GB is extreme overkill, and so is 8GB 4-5GB is maximum you should have, because you'll rarely (never) use anything more than that.

  • @zingmars i see you are a standarduser! if you work (not play) with 3D for game-, grafix- or even in musicapps, you NEED that to render the objekt/scene/music without having troubles, laggs and other funny things which happened !

you talk about ram overkill, i talk about ram power!!!

lets see, you open with your 1GBramPC 9apps and work with them at the same time, what happened ? your pc die, and my PC smiles !

so have fun at streaming with firefox and playing pacman on your poketcalculator

  • @dafinga666 I'm talking about 4GB PCs not 1GB ones. Also yes - those things you named do need more RAM than usual. But do note that even then 8GB is usually enough to do so. Even when rendering you'll rarely reach 8GB, let alone 16GB. (obviously that's depending on the scene you're rendering - resolution, how many models in the scene and so on.). 16GB currently is a HUGE overkill.

  • If i had this, i would be able to simulate the Big Bang....... twice..... at the same fucking time on 2 different virtual machines...... while my brother's playing heavy rain maxed out in another monitor with a ps3 emulator... LOL

  • intel + ATI = good mix

lol fanboys from both sides are going to hate me now xD

  • you guys know this is made oh most 4 years so what you looking at back then is one hell of a beast. now its a normal computer to the people that like building pcs. still i think this computer is bad ass in the year 2006 :P

  • lol two 8800s and quad core :D

    not so cool nowadays :D

my computer beats this and my computer is from start of 08.

  • I like amd , and i like Nvidia in sli , but since amd do not suport sli ( only crosfire ) the choice is very simple - intel .

  • @ZXRaziel since when did AMD stop supporting SLI ??!?! mine does !

  • @pashaahsj Yes they used to suport sli on older motherboards .

  • @ZXRaziel oh cool ok ;D

  • @antjam666 thats GOOD AS! 8gb ram? im upgrading to 2gb ram for 1gb LMFAO, your computer would Bury mine in earths core.

  • @antjam666 Don't listen to that moron antjam666- he has no idea what he is talking about and is clearly ignorant. You are correct to be proud to have a system with 8gigs of ram. I just recently upgraded my system from 4Gb to 8GB of memory and I noticed quicker response times, quicker loading, and much faster web page and Alt-Tabbing performance. What kind of Graphics card and Processor do you have?

  • @illmagnified Yeah listen to people who know shit.. I only have 1gb of ram? LOLOL, a Single core processor running at 3.00ghz, a 128mb graphics card.. A standed Asus Motherboard. MY computer is SHIT!

  • @omgmyuserwasdisabled Lol listen man don;t be so hard on your system! It actually sounds average and can still play games if you upgrade that graphics card... You can pick yourself up a 9600GT for around 40 bucks after rebates and sales on NewEgg which IS AN AMAZING GPU- Overclocks to 9800GT Speeds and can easily play Crysis...even with a 3GHZ P4 or Athlon 64 single core series cpu..and with 2 Gb of ram your good.Just upgrade that GPU-the rest of your System will hold its own for awhile!

  • @illmagnified No im going to get an Intel Pentium 2 Duo Core 2.66ghz , ATI HD 4850 HD 1gb Graphics card, 2gb Ram and upgrade my HDD.. I Cant handle the slowness dude its annoying me.. Programs Unresponsive.. Sony Vegas taking 40 minutes to render a 30 seconds CoD4 clip to 720p-24p Mozilla Firefox 1 whole minute to boot up 5 minutes for the computer to boot up 2 minutes for a program to actually be responsive after a boot up.. i was going to get an AMD Quad Phenom II

  • @omgmyuserwasdisabled Hey man! Ok I feel your pain and I do agree with you that its time to upgrade but everybody has different financial obligations and situations so I wasn't going to tell you your system needed upgrading other than the GPU. But Listen. $350 bucks will get you a brand new system if you keep your peripherals. The 4850 is fucking nasty- plays Crysis and every other game at the highest settings. As for the C2D vs the Phenom II Quad Cores- Go with the Phenom II Quad Cores- COnt...

  • @omgmyuserwasdisabled The Phenom II's have upgraded cache and architecture lay outs that really fly and out compete the C2D's for less money! No Bullshit. I have a Core 2 Quad at 3.6 and it is amazing. But the new Phenom II's are just newer tech. It completely up to you though. If you do go the Phenom Route make sure they are the Phenom II's! Not the regular Phenoms. As for the rest, 2Gb of ram is fine, If you can affrod the extra 20 bucks, go with 4Gb you will thank me later.

  • @antjam666 gigs dont make ur pc better prick learn then talk

  • @wtftoto Ummmm yes it does you moron, what the hell are you talking about? Gigs of Ram always helps no matter what, in fact, its one of the best bang for bucks upgrades you can do to your PC for additional performance. So "PRICK" Learn then talk.

  • this is damn near 4 fucking years ago...........slimmer an better sht iz out now........

  • i wish i have that king of mother board

  • 11 harddrives, ok?

  • to sum up: PRON NON STOP!

  • ....all that stuff and only 4 gb of ram

  • @derekis1joedirt back then few pc had 1gig ram.... geting 2gb memory was expensive

  • @2661634 Still is expensive lol.

  • this is every hackers dream pc lol,id like to add at this point that im not a hacker lol.

  • LOL all that and only 4gigs of memory!??!

  • @DarkKnight719 Yea! Thats why Im so impresed, because 3 years ago my gaming pc had 256Mb RAM.

I couldnt even imagine so mutch ram 3 years ago! 4Gb ram! thats unbelivable!

  • @DarkKnight719 this was long ago

  • wtf. did he say two cpu? i gotta get in on this shit

  • you can back up all of the NASA's porn in that machine !!!

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha :D

  • thats straight porno

  • oh %(*#$

  • sexyyyyyyyyy

  • sexxyyyyyyyyyyy

  • sexyyyyyyyyyy

  • @asus3571 that was 2006, the 8800 was one of the best cards back then.

  • @malakas582

man your comment is funny as hell that i lol'ed so hard believe me XD

  • haha and i think my rig is heavy! xD only got 2 hard drives and one gpu, metal chassi thu, around 25-30kg's its enuth xD

dont be amazed by playing a HD movie o.O my laptop can play two of them, my computer can play over 10 WoW's in dalaran (gpu fail me, singel 4890) and encode more then one movie, the progrm only uses 10% of it, core i7 is the shit, never used over 40-50% of its power, always the gpu or something else thats to slow :P

  • those qwere 8800gt whitch are good cards but my single gts250 is far off poerformance wize

  • dude, that a sli

  • I have 4 Hard Drives with a GTX 275 OC and a massive Zalman heatsink in a reasonably light Antec 900 Case and its heavy as all hell- I can imagine how heavy that shit is with 12 Hard Drives and 4 GPU's in that Bad Larry. Awsome setup.

  • holly shit

i can give away my buddies for this pc

  • old technology? so amd integrating the memory controller and making a monolithic quad core years before intel was just amd using "old technology". both intel and amd trade blows at whose the fastest or whose the most efficient. saying amd uses old technology is misleading, both amd and intel use 45nm transistors, and amd uses liquid assisted refraction in their fabs, something intel had to wait on until 32nm later in 2010.

  • @thebeetalls While I love defending AMD I have to disagree with you on one point. Intel was technically first with using integrated memory conrtrollers. The Itanium series of their server line up used them. Which was done before AMD started to use integrated memory controllers. AMD is great, I have a 965 at 3.4 ghz but I have to say if you want the best go intel, it is that simple the benchmarks and proof is out there. I just hope AMD can pull ahead with bulldozer this year, change is good.

  • @Cleezy88 Itanium was a failure in every way and not even worth mentioning, i could care less if intel integrated a nuclear reactor in one of those piles of crap.

  • @thebeetalls Hmm...well Itanium is still on the market I am sure it is on Intel's website, second they were not technically "failures" since they still exist. I was not trying to pick an argument with you but you completely deflected the tid bit I put up for you and responded with, "i could care less if intel integrated a nuclear reactor in one of those piles of crap". I have no idea how this has anything to do with what I mentioned. Now when people offer you some info, take it don't be rude.

  • @Cleezy88 I'm not trying to pick an argument either, i just think itanium sucks.

  • @Cleezy88 you mean RIGHT NOW Intel is better. Dont forget that AMD has kicked Intel's ass in the past and may do it again... K7 owned pentium II, Athlon XP killed Pentium III and early P4. Then came AMD64 which was twice as fast as P4 at any frequency. Pentium D was a joke and so was P4 HT. It took Core2 for Intel to finally pull ahead. Both companies had their highs and lows for now Intel is faster, but like in the past.. I doubt for long.

  • great system. what is your spec?

  • OMFG thats some heavy $hit

  • if you are a heavy gamer quad cores are def the way to go. Crysis is a prime of example of a game that can fully utilize quad core processors.

  • this thing is sweet... i think it should play crisis like no other... it was playing 2 HD movies and encoding one while he was running WOW

  • nice computer but get rid of the fans and get liquid cooling. your computer will like it more!

  • why did I just stumble this

  • 12 hard drive? So pointless I have been using my 250 gig HD that i got 7 years ago and it does nothing to gaming if i got a 1t 10k rpg one such bs

  • uh dude enthusist not gaming its to hold HD movies

  • If you didn't notice, the video was made on November 15, 2006. Its 2010 now. So what do you expect.

  • Now just get iPC or Kallyway on it and it'll be perfect!

    

  • hmmmm i burnt my tongue

  • Actually theres no library for multi core programing, so making games that support multi core is expensive and doesnt pay everytime (look at ps3 and compare to 360) so a few games may use multi core in a way that makes difference.

  • Yes, yes it's all very impressive... but can it run Crysis? :D

  • very easily on medium to high settings

  • main is graphic you need good graphic card its 90% of the game

  • lol why would a gamer want 12 hard drives?

  • For Raid 0.

  • because gaming 99.9% of games don't support 2 cores so 8 cores would logically be targeting the same people that want their SUV's to get 2 miles to the gallon and pay $75 for a hamburger

  • Idiot. Very few older games cant work 2 cores. Quad cores can be used by pretty much all the newest games, and one of the main purposes of multi-cores is multi tasking.

  • 1 million dollars .... xd

  • LOL why do they have a stacker NVIDIA edition..how stupid is that :D

  • It was before AMD bought ATI.

  • Because, if you listened to the video, it had 2 8800s inside of it, which are made by nVidia.

  • I want that rig!

  • OMFG ..... 8-O ....shit... i came......

  • ....y why this is old ass shit its an antique

  • if you would know MY antique piece of shit of computer..... this would be the greatest you ever see ;-)

at my pc JUST wow is lagging and stucking all the time on LOWEST details -.- (AMD 2000+ 1,6ghz 512mb ram ati radeon 9600)

  • i dident say it was shit the 4x4 is old and droped

  • Omg i get an erection xD

  • See this video, then see your computer.... you won´t see it as always :(

  • wtf since when weas the 8800s out in nov of 2006 i dont even recall them being out that early for fuck sakes thats when the 7950gx2 came out well during that summer...and i dont even recall bak in 06 ever seeing a quad sli motherbored nore do i remeber any cards having that feature...this computer still blows my mind today

  • Quad on 2006? Hahaha!

  • only thing i hear is fouur fouur foouuur does have a burger in his mouth or what :)

  • what mobo is that

  • Damn always something awsome from AMD,

i wonder how much is it...

  • I've ordered this motherboard, but my credit card is gone now :) it's 1500$

  • lol. Sorry to laugh at your predicament, but i just had 2.

  • Holy shit that rig is crazy for when it was released a few years ago. Fully loaded it must weigh close to 100 pounds! Can you put dual cpu heatsinks? Will it fit?

  • i wonder how much

  • The Inside Reminds Me Of Star trek with all this lights Blinking

  • lol that thing is ready to get the rrod LOL so many fucking fans in there LMFAOOOO

  • HAHA its guna melt his house down.

  • On the top right screen Windows Task Manager is only showing 4 cores :/

  • amd have fallen behind major and there is a risk of bankrupt

  • plz plz plz tell me the name off the mother board in tht :(:(:(

  • i got that case on my old pc but i got an even better pc than this i mean its over 4ghz quad sli and 12gb ssd everything

  • now that's what i call a fucking computer

  • plzplzplzplzplz tell me what the name off the Mother board is i reli reli want 1 witch takes two cpus

  • i want it

  • wow omg

  • everyone this video is almost 3 years old!!! i dont think anything is even relivent anymore you might as well look somewhere else.

  • I wonder why they only have 4 gigs of ram. I was unaware that quad cores could use less than a 64 bit os. Therefore they wouldnt be limited to only 4 gigs. Seems like a weakness.

  • well the 32 bit processors doesn't support more than about 3.3 GB of RAM and the 64 bit one supports about 8GB of RAM

  • Dumbass that doesnt explain how they ran quad cores. Thanks anyway try again.

  • AMD is my life T_T

    jaajaja XD!

    AMD rules!

  • wow, i want that computer please. thanks lol

wow. i have trouble playing LOTRO on high graphics. this coudl probably be beyond smooth on the ultimate graphics setting lol.

    how cool

  • fuck me fuck me fuck me fuck me fuck me u bitch

  • can u ppl. imagine the guy that made the pc he is still alivr i always forget his name but can u imagine his pc ow good it is lol wana be his friend lol my pc has 6 Gb of Ram and 4 cores that are 4.55 Ghz but it still isnt as fast as this 1 lol i think

  • it shames my 4 core 4 gb off ram :(

  • sounds like a lawnmower

  • wow! its crazy to think that in 5 more years this will be like "omg! thats so old! it only has 8 cores! that couldnt even run windows!"

  • windows vista 2 O I mean windows 7 :P

  • thats insane, nice case though Nvidia Edition CM Stacker saweet

  • Isn't That a Server Setup?

  • exactly, bla bla bla bla bla.....

Macs are using Intel CPU´s now. No more G-X witch proably sucked, or why did they switch on Intel then? You are a typicial Mac user- absolutely no idea regarding Computers at all, just repeating the ads which are made for clueless people who are happy to see nice colours on they screen. Its nothing personal but please inform yourself before posting shit.

  • macs are made for stupid people duh... It's to complicated pressing the start button. I do admit, its a windows logo on vista, that's like so much more hard to understand.

  • look into the G7 it will smack any computer in the world IBM just came out with a chip that has 8 cores one on top of the others.

  • dam, imagin AMD making 16 cores taht would be FUCKING GOD!

  • 8800? thats old

  • the video was made 3+ years ago dumbass

  • and it still cant run crysis lol

  • It's got two seperate processors and four graphics cards. It'll destroy Crysis.

  • crysis doesnt support multiple processors nor will it use more than 2 graphics cards.

  • Thanks for the useless knowledge. Point being, this computer would have no trouble playing Crysis.

  • Crysis supports multiple cores- I didnt know it didn't support multiple processors.

  • quad cores fuk of some games

  • this sounds like the dual AMD FX setup to get 4 cores.

  • Its a mess ....no clean lines , could be a fire problem . not enough cooling for two processors, plus how many watts to make this thing go , and why only 4gb memory why not 6gb ,amd is known to get very hot 12 hard drives , why noy call it a server?

  • The video is from 2006... DDR2 was expensive back then where it was something like $100/GB

  • DANG DUDE! WHO NEEDS THIS???? SERIOUSLY! I mean it would be AWSUM to play FarCry 2 on that rig but seriously who NEEDS this? I just WANT this lol

  • more power means the longer you pc will last till you need to upgrade or buy another

  • u dont NEED anything (other than food.) So ur fail.

  • que linda pc para jugar al counter strike xD jajajaja

  • 12 hard drives? Wow and 8 cores. thats Crazy! i would take it.

  • id like that pc wow

  • where can i get those 4 monitors?

    please answer me?

  • anywhere that sells HD moniters at 1080p. That what I assume they are running, but it is back in 06 so it might actually be 720p.

  • nerds

  • My comp is better then that, I´ve got the i7 ^^ and 6gb of ram and 4870x2 Asus ati card

  • u do realize this came out X years back right?

  • mine is better. dell inspiration, 16gbs of ram 3 tarbites 2 9800gts's yeahh im god.

  • Pfft. woopdidoo. You can watch movies, congratz -.- 9800x2 aint that good, 3 terrabites? pfft i can get that and the 16Gb is just the max for a 64-Bit Operating system(not sure about the last thing though)

  • its a fuckin laptop goo look it up dickweed

  • yeah but that was in 2006.. dumb ass

  • yes, I also so a PC but without a 64 bit system is not very much.

  • all that noise drives you crazy mate

  • That crazyy

  • whats the light thing inside that shows numbers on proccesors?

  • those are memory sticks broski. shows the usage on the amount of ram being used.:]

  • Temperature & CPU usage

  • what are they called specifically?

  • no idea sorry

  • omg this thing gave me a woody

  • amd just got there new technology AKA 4 CORES but intel now came with a new core speed thread technology

will c when amd comes with a new one

  • intel came out with xeon quad

  • What you would need with all that graphics power is beyond my thinking. That machine is needs to be chained down because its out of control! You built a beast.

  • Jesus Christ..

  • lol in 10 jears we will all laugh about that ^^

  • Thats fucking a beast!! XD!!

  • lol 8800

  • what are the specs?
