  • whats the name of the song at the intro??

  • moonlight sonata

  • @trowe76 Cheers!!

  • This is one of a kind! Thanks David for making these videos, and thanks Mr Luthier for showing us your work station.

  • wow, it would be soooo hard to make one of those!

  • then buy one :p

  • Moonlight Sonata's first movement. I rarely listen to classical music, but this song gives me goosebumps, I think it is classic rock at it's finest

  • Where can I buy one of his guitars?

  • this guy takes $7000 for a guitar. I mean, the craftmanship is great, but 7000 bucks? I could get anything I want for that.

  • there are always idiots with to much money in their pockets :)

  • truly you must understand the beauty of a master crafted instrument?

  • I have been in contact with many luthiers about complex designs, and none of them gave a price that was close to 7 grand. Most wanted half of that.

  • I love this series of videos, so facinating!

  • I'm digging that Moonlight Sonata in the beginning lol. It must be a cool to work on guitars all day and get paid for it.

  • Is epoxy commonly used as a primer/ void filler in fine classical guitars? Doesn't it deaden the sound a bit? Just asking, I don't know.

  • its called pore filling, the only epoxy on the guitar is in the tiny pores, if the pores were unfilled, the finish would have craters in it. doesnt damp the as any excess is sanded off. however, using epoxy is an unconventional way of doing it if a french polish is going to be used. look at this vid for more info about the epoxy watch?v=YYHxMg7n9cI

  • Epoxy dried is very hard and would transmit sound very well.

  • cool
