  • How cute!!

  • aww we do the same with my greyhound wayne he is soo funny

  • I can see you're a fluent speaker of her language

  • @raktin LOL Yeah, I speak hound well... although I still have a human accent. Can't seem to rid myself of the pesky thing... ;-)

  • LOL. I love it.

  • DeeDee is hilarious!

  • I really need to get a camera. Right now my grey Kip is howling at the monitor as I watch dee dee howl

  • i just love his voice

  • I love it when dogs slam their head down and stare at you SOOOOO cute!!!

  • Love this vid. My grey, Lexi doesn't roo.... guess I should feel lucky? Don't think so. So cool.

  • I played this video for my Greyhound Jedi...he's 12 and a half...he stared at the whole thing and responded in his old man voice...thank you

  • I can't get my fawn greyhound to roo no matter what I do. My last one, a brindle, rooed like crazy.

  • I was all caught up in animal rights emotions (having just had a tragedy in our family involving a dear pet) ....I apologize, I was lashing out in my pain....I did some research and its like a houndog baying at a rabbit...its natural. Please accept my apology.

  • @BOBBYRIF1 Apology accepted, and don't worry about it. I understand - people do strange things when they are hurting. I'm very sorry to hear of the tragedy involving your pet. That is always so hard to go through. I hope you are able to find a little bit of peace somehow this holiday season.

  • Can you not tell,or do you not care that that's annoying the dog..get a hobby dunbass

  • @BOBBYRIF1 Oh, yeah... DeeDee looks so annoyed she's about to fall asleep! How horrible! Lol. Maybe before you go around posting rude comments on people's videos, you should research dog body language, specifically greyhounds, since their body language is slightly different, especially their ear positions. Or maybe you should check out all the other greyhound rooing videos and realize that greyhounds love to roo! Please take a course in manners. One in spelling wouldn't hurt, either.

  • @BOBBYRIF1 Greyhounds don't usually bark anyways.. they "Roo" like this

  • My Scrat Noodle is rooing to this...he is a dachshund. Love the vid.

  • My greyhounds roo with DeeDee!!

  • @vickersgo6 Sounds like fun! You should get it on video and post a response - I'd love to hear them! :-)

  • 1:57 lol

  • sounds to me like you two are having an amazing conversation : )

she's probably saying, "I love you mommy!!"

  • @BrokebackT9 Aww... thanks! :-)

  • sharp noises hurt dogs ears and they respond

  • @dogcomb47 Perhaps - but DeeDee (and many other greyhounds) will roo in response to even very low toned "howls." ;-)

  • She's telling you to get a beer from the fridge, pass her the TV remote control, and tuck a blanket around her. She's not going to get up and do it herself, you know:)

  • @octolou8 Lol! Could be. Although she'd probably prefer a cup of frozen peanut butter to a beer. The image of my pup curled up under a blanket in front of the TV licking away at a cup of frozen peanut butter is too funny... and somewhat scary! Lol...

  • @limbrooke83 She's a beautiful dog- greyhounds are really just the best pets.

  • This is adorable~ Are all greyhounds that vocal?

  • @LittleMissAlleyCat Thanks! Most greyhounds (including DeeDee) rarely vocalize at all. Some never do. But many will "roo," which is sort of a mix between howling, barking, and talking. DeeDee does this anytime we "roo" at her, lol. You can find Youtube videos of large groups of greyhounds "rooing" together. It's a lot of fun. Unless you have a headache, of course... ;-)

  • @limbrooke83 I do get headaches, but heck, this looks so fun I wouldn't even care!!

  • I wish my greyhound could do this AWESOME talent.

  • Why is that polar bear making those sounds?

  • This is one of my all time favorite greyhound videos on youtube!

  • So sweet, my dog actually got up and was giving a very worried look as if to say: 'Is - is it O.K?' The minute the video stopped he just sat down! Adorable!

  • ADORABLE. <3 <3
