  • if you're still making films I have a script that I have been trying desperately to produce. After searching everywhere, i haven't been able to find any actors in my town. If you are interested please reply back. I promise I will take care of any costs; which probably won't be much

  • girl was ok but like whats his name commented also the guy at the start of the flick looks retarted the guys facial reactions and shity acting through out the video are just too much to bare lol. and the flashbacks are so stupid and chaotic. I just don't like this one but I think you will get better in time. not trying to be rude just brutally honest. thought film makers like you could appreciate that and not take offense.

  • wewh ,what a cinematography....it will not pass OSCAR AWARDS

  • MOTHERFUCKING A !!!!!! EXCELLENT WORK YOU GUYS !!!!!! IT WAS AWSOME !!!!!

    Greetings from argentina.-

  • 2 word review.................."shit sandwich"

  • Great short-movie.

    Those sticks are deadly!!

Very good actor-game and nicely done effects.

  • best part at 3:50 with the shoe :D

  • Some sound effects and music would have been good, but good job.

  • 4:32. Omg she killed Michael Jackson :O. XD

  • this is great! but i dont get the end when the black stuffs running out her eyes and such...explian plz ? :)

  • i love how she just walks over and conks him on the head

    LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO

this must have been fun to film

  • Freaking awesome acting! Do more!

  • Awesome!

  • That was cool as balls. I love it.

  • muy bueno pero falto que hablaran mas

  • THIS WAS REALLY FUCKING AMAZING !!!!!

better than a real horror movie

  • lol you guys almost made my little sister piss her pants. good jobb. :))

  • Personally I liked it. I'd just recommend maybe investing in a tripod, but I realize you're working with a little to nothing budget so you get what you get.

  • sigh....you want to know what i think? fine.

the blonde kid looking into the camera in the beginning was fucking stupid. it was hard to tell when a flashback was occurring. Should've used a different film effect or something. The audio was horrible. Should've been redone. You should've found an abandoned building and filmed there.

  • Oh man, I'm sorry I made you do that...I had no idea how laborious it must be for you to impart your opinion on the writhing masses. Don't let anyone force you to be honest with random guys on youtube again.

  • You're right, though, the audio is pretty shitty.

  • wow good film

  • 1st off, awesome job.

    4/5 on the acting

2/5 on the directing (that girl didnt seem very remorseful about murdering that guy with the stick ROFL)

12/5 for... well shit, I would NEVER take the time to do this! So again, great job.

  • Oh man, I love it! It really has a dark feel to it, and I really felt for the girl when she started to cry (blood? it was kinda blackish though). Made me want to cry lol AMAZING acting, but I'm sure you know that already.

Favorited, Rated 5 Stars, what else can I do to this video? lol Awesome job

  • Fuck me, this is better than any cheesy horror flick ive seen, best 8min film everggod work!!

  • The worse is that she is pretty and she really looks a survival horror girl!x3

  • How did you make it look like the stick was going through the guy that banged his head on the wall

  • Darkness is the key. Very well done

  • wow,seems silent hill 4 . . .

    However a nice video !

  • kinda looks sillent hill xD the guy hiting his head on the wall xD this is bullshit the only thin i like was the end the music xD

  • umm wtf i tought that was a rape wtf?????

  • omg thats some creepy ass shit!

  • zombie crawl was creepy as hell

  • Nice job dude. Could have used a little dialog, well i guess internal dialog since theres only one human in it :). Nice vombie crawl out the door that looked freaky.

  • Appreciate it, man. Assignment didn't allow dialog, so I had to work without it.

  • i dont rly get it..... can someone plz help

  • dentremont is my last name and id even knoe this girl what the hell!!and it is actually d'Entremont

  • Suggestions: -Maybe... more darkness, or one or two lights blinking.

    -Some music.

-The guy hitting the wall with the head could have some blood on his face.

    [Sorry my english]

    Good things: -Excellent actors.

    -Good camera angles.

    -Great story.

    Want more. Five stars :D

    Again, sorry por my english.

  • great vid!

just one thing, in the flashback you could put some effect to to separate both times (sorry for my bad english xD)

  • great work! I liked the special effects!

    And the girl....just hot ;)

  • Ok so are they zombies or psycho murderers? And what happened at the beginning? Nice use of special effects especially the blood splatter!

  • I'm a BIG fan of Survival Horror. Especially the kind that keeps you wondering about the guys/girls sanity. Are they capable of fighting back? So, I was plesently supprised by this submission. It had all the things I was looking for in a great horror film. Beautiful Camera Angles. A Fuzzy Past. Hints that there is something more going on than meets the eye. Kudos. 5/5

  • this is so coool;););)good job everyone!!

  • Nice.

  • nice video wish my MSV group project did a survival horror movie instead of our lame ass romantic comedy XD

  • The camera angles were beautiful! :D

I wish you'd added a bit of audio, but everything else was highly realistic.

When that guy got beat down, I was like "Damn. He ain't going to be in the sequel." Rofl.

  • nice ass.......... oh yeah great vid too great vid........

    asssssssssssss11111111111111111111111111111

  • hahahaha

  • Amazing...one of the best filmed horror shorts I've found on youtube!

I like the fact that the girl doesnt say a word...it brings a silent and lonely sensation...(and does'nt risk ruining the movie with possible voice acting mistakes)...

on the scene where the guy was hitting his head on the wall, a broken cold lamp that keeps flashing would be nice...

    great movie anyway!! 5/5 =D

  • great work! the camera angles were executed well, the actors looked convincing and it really set the mood! could do with some background music to really get the viewer on edge!

  • Great job;D 5/5;D

  • Well, better than I expected. I didn't get the whole story, sorry, but I did get the point, so it's not a horrible mistake, hehe. I didnt like the "flashbacks" because they were so unsteady, but you used them in perfect times, so it was pretty good. I laughed when the guy was hurting himself, so I guess that's not good, but the movie had it's great moments (like at 4:08, when he turned his head and looked at her). And blood was excellent (in the same scene, when she beat him, I said "wow...").

  • You have no idea how much I appreciate your honest feedback. =) Thank you very much.

I don't think the part with him hurting himself turned out right either. =D

  • Anytime, my friend. And about the hitting to the wall, we once used this: the person acts like he is REALLY going to hit the wall (At full speed, I mean), and right before he does, just hit the wall with you hand and do as if your head had bounced of the wall (obviously you just do a sudden move so it looks like it hehe) and with some practise, it looks and sounds very realistic. Works perfectly for fighting scenes. It's kind of hard explaning this on text hehe.Good luck with your next one l,,l,

  • I think my favorite aspect has to be that they had no lines. The overall effect of that was a lot more positive than having script just for the sake of having lines... :)

  • I'm glad it worked for you! That was a requirement of the assignment, and it was tough, but in the end I think the project is better for it.

  • It was awesome :) a soon as I've got summer vacation im gonna make my own horror shortcut. Thanks for sharing this, it was really inspiring.

  • I'm honored to hear that. =) Good luck!

  • Hey, I thought it will be worse... but this is a really good "amateur" (sorry, didn't find any word that would match this - Bad english, I'm from Poland) movie - keep it goin' 5/5

  • I think "amateur" fits the bill pretty well. =) Thanks, I'm glad you liked it.

  • Nice editing I like the effect of skipping a few frames, was done to good affect. The blood looked real, what did you use? brownie mix, water and red food dye? Nice bruising make-up and good story telling with out sound. Nice horror/thriller.

  • Thank you very much! You nailed it on the head with the blood mix...friend of mine gave me the recipe. We actually added some shredded paper towel to the head blood to add a little brain matter. =)

Really glad you liked it, man.

  • Yeah that Sierra person is sorta my sister. So no guess work on the blood but still great job. And, what kind of camera did you use because it seemed to film in low light well it was pretty steady and the quality looks pretty good. And some of the time I didn't know if you were using a tripod or just holding it because it was very steady but shaking just a tiny bit(really tiny).

  • Well it's a pleasure to meet you! The camera is 3CCD, so it captures color really nicely, but it's still a small hand-held, so it was still a challenge to keep the screen light enough. I used a tripod roughly half the time, so if you noticed shaking that would be my lack of a steadicam. I'd like to think the shaking usually worked to my advantage, though.

Your sister is a very good actor, by the way. I was sorry to have so few opportunities to show that here - she's really talented.

  • I loved that it was unclear- that's what made it for me.. and all the Satan stuff xD. I could totally see this as a REAL movie. For the equipment you had, the way that you shot this and the great performances given by those actors seriously made this as good as it gets. You have so much potential as a filmmaker and this shows it. Did you edit it with final cut?

  • Haha, I was waiting for you to comment. Thanks so much, dude. Yeah, I'm really happy with my actors' performances - they definitely made it. And I'm glad you enjoyed the lack of clarity - it was a tough line to walk.

I'm also glad you appreciated the satanist stuff, because it was a little nerve-wracking making a pentagram out of salt at 12:30AM in the laundry room and hoping no one would see me.

I used AVID, actually - it's what our school uses.

  • Oh my gosh! That was one of the scariest things I've ever seen on youtube! Nice work. When that guy with the mask on his face dragged himself out of te door way and turned his face...that was just creepy! lol 5 stars!

  • Thank you very much! I love to hear that stuff.

  • I love it! Very nightmarish! You do anything else like this in the future, let me know. I want to help!

  • Flippin sweet. My heart seriously was pounding at the end. Totally dig it.
