wow, this is amazing! I've been to Uganda (for World Vision), about a month ago. I saw horrible things. Orphans, widows, hunger, poverty, dead... It's true what he says: 'When we ignore the widow and the orphan, we actually add to their pain.'
It really gives those people strenght if we just think about them and pray for them. Sometimes they seem so far away, but we're all living in the same world!
Tragic, terrific, horrible but a true parallel of the world we are living. Is it fair? What do you do about it. Do something to positively impact your community, Jesus did not come to just sit, see, and broadcast the unfairness of this world; but he did something about it, he revolutionized it. Our job today is to continue to work that Jesus started.

I go over to philly to help a church that is changing the city, I see these videos that inspire me even further to do what makes me feel like i make a difference. Some people get so consumed with their own battles that they forget that their brothers are fighting bigger and worse battles in life. May it be spiritual or physical, battles are meant to be fought. I'm not a christian, but I still try to live with the same compassion that teachers such as Jesus showed. I think we need to keep in mind that it is very easy to love the ambiguous term "humanity," but when it comes to real people, it can be much harder.

next time that you are walking by a street and you see a needy person (a real one), you can go to a store and buy some food and something to drink, then you go after that person in need and give her the food, if you want, you can talk with that person a little bit, ask her name, hear her problems. That is a good start, and then you will start knowing about the will of the Father that Jesus taught. :) you will receive a lot when you give love, you will receive more love :)

This is a very profound video, well done Hillsong. Many people are missing the point to this video. IT isn't about joining an organization. There are many organizations out there. This is about serving the world. It is something in all of us, who believe and serve God. This video was created to awaken Christians to the reality of a world dying and suffering. Christians need to awaken the world is waiting. We need to lend a hand, lend a word. Be God's vessels, be all he has called us to be.
this is not an organization. its a movement placed upon the hearts of the people who desire to help. it can be in your neighborhood or on a side of a street where i homeless person is at. some people get the wrong conception that this an organization that does something but it is something more...its a movement. where one decides they are done ignoring the unfairness of others. when they take a stand and help those who are in need, instead of turning their head and thank God it wasnt them..
So, what exactly does this organization do? That would be helpful in this video. All I got from it was a reminder of how bad some people have it. Anybody? Do they visit these people who need so much help? Do they stay and improve the quality of life or do they stay for 3 weeks and move on? How is it funded? Anybody?
if all you got is what some people have it bad then watch it again.... it is what "you" do for these people. it doesnt necessarily mean you have to go to the ends of the world to touch these people but do your part in what you can do. its to remind us that we are all equal, and to count it as unfair for these people and not do anything then it is fair to say that we are the same hands that contribute to the unfairness...listen to the end.
this is a youth group/ worship band that travel from continent to continent, using mainly music to show the power of God's love, the are not an organization looking for money, they just do what they can and record it, this is part 2 of the project, they will release a dvd of them going out and helping hoping to inspire others to do the same, which people can show clips of them doing things which is part 3..

so is the purpose of this organization to help the poor and needy by means of just doing a good thing cuz it's "the right thing to do"? or are they also going to give the FULL GOSPEL and let people know about a Savior that came and died for the rich and the poor, for the wise and the fool....
im sure they will. but in most cases, because of physical situations, it would be impossible for people to hear the gospel unless something or someone does something to help them. if you don't know where your next meal is coming from what care do you have about your soul? if you are dying of hunger what good is a bible verse? and i agree that souls matter more than anything else...but in order to make a difference in peoples lives you actually have to do something about their situations.

I think as we reach out finacially, as we help to provide the basic biological needs for the people; the people will see the Christ that lives within us.
United isn't doing this because it's just the right thing to do. They do give the full gospel. To be in the position that they are in, I give them a lot of respect for all the things that they do.

Its funny, me and my friends use to talk about all of this and changing the world. Its been almost a year now since we talked about that idea and nothing has happened. But now i realized that we can only change the world if we change ourselves.

Will this be out in theaters? Because that would be wonderful. I'm trying my best here to try and share this video with all my friends but it would be great if the documentary were out in theaters. Although the chances of a highly opinionated, religious-based documentary would have much interest with the outside world. Which just goes further to show how much even our country needs the love and compassion of God.
i think this is an excellent video that shows the present reality of our world as well as the results of the decisions that our leadership has taken in the past. We have separated the social work/responsibility from the Evangelism and - now we as today's leaders we need to start unifying the followers of Christ and take the decisions that will change our tomorrow. We messages like this - we need to move from good to great - from one to many - we were called to change this world!
The most powerful thing for me is that most of the video from the left side of the screen is from worship. Its a potent image, how happy and euphoric we are in our churches and youth groups, and how all too often we think of church as another entertainment source, another place to elate us, when its true purpose is to prepare us for the ministry of living lives that reconcile others to Christ.
I'm sitten in front of a 13-year-old-boy who is telling me his story. He was born on a little town on Brazil, he got addicted to drugs with 8 years. The police caught him and sent him to a house of other boys, where he knew Jesus and his life changed. His dream now is to be a pastor. Man, how God is big, and wonderful. Its nice to hear that God still love people and save his children. God bless you guys, be the change

100% agree on this! you have countries that have millions of rich people like in urban China who have Guicci, LV, send their children abroad and spend their money like nothing while also millions of people in the rural area struggle to pay for food and live in drink water contaminated in toxic metals. next time that you are walking by a street and you see a needy person (a real one), you can go to a store and buy some food and something to drink, then you go after that person in need and give her the food, if you want, you can talk with that person a little bit, ask her name, hear her problems. That is a good start, and then you will start knowing about the will of the Father that Jesus taught. :) you will receive a lot when you give love, you will receive more love :)

This is so powerful that it sent chills when I watched it. Why aren't we helping? I know some of us do try to help. Do we help because we want to show off or do we help from our hearts and because we want to--not because we have to? I think about this often. Do you?

This is a very profound video, well done Hillsong. Many people are missing the point to this video. IT isn't about joining an organization. There are many organizations out there. This is about serving the world. It is something in all of us, who believe and serve God. This video was created to awaken Christians to the reality of a world dying and suffering. Christians need to awaken the world is waiting. We need to lend a hand, lend a word. Be God's vessels, be all he has called us to be.

this is not an organization. its a movement placed upon the hearts of the people who desire to help. it can be in your neighborhood or on a side of a street where i homeless person is at. some people get the wrong conception that this an organization that does something but it is something more...its a movement. where one decides they are done ignoring the unfairness of others. when they take a stand and help those who are in need, instead of turning their head and thank God it wasnt them..

So, what exactly does this organization do? That would be helpful in this video. All I got from it was a reminder of how bad some people have it. Anybody? Do they visit these people who need so much help? Do they stay and improve the quality of life or do they stay for 3 weeks and move on? How is it funded? Anybody?

if all you got is what some people have it bad then watch it again.... it is what "you" do for these people. it doesnt necessarily mean you have to go to the ends of the world to touch these people but do your part in what you can do. its to remind us that we are all equal, and to count it as unfair for these people and not do anything then it is fair to say that we are the same hands that contribute to the unfairness...listen to the end.

this is a youth group/ worship band that travel from continent to continent, using mainly music to show the power of God's love, the are not an organization looking for money, they just do what they can and record it, this is part 2 of the project, they will release a dvd of them going out and helping hoping to inspire others to do the same, which people can show clips of them doing things which is part 3..

im sure they will. but in most cases, because of physical situations, it would be impossible for people to hear the gospel unless something or someone does something to help them. if you don't know where your next meal is coming from what care do you have about your soul? if you are dying of hunger what good is a bible verse? and i agree that souls matter more than anything else...but in order to make a difference in peoples lives you actually have to do something about their situations.

United isn't doing this because it's just the right thing to do. They do give the full gospel. To be in the position that they are in, I give them a lot of respect for all the things that they do.

why do people always have to make it about that? you're totally missing the purpose of the video..which is to shed light on what we do not do enough of, which is help the helpless the the broken in heart. He's saying a lot of us Christians live such a luxury life and just pass people by who do not have the same as we do and do not have access to it...stop making it about race....black or white..red..or blue..we sit comfortably and ignore stuff like this....and it's not fair as Joel said...

I really disagree with the previous comment...they were problems then and they still are so why did no-one try and stop it then? Who cares if they are not new problems, at the end of the day IT HAS TO STOP! And as far as im concerned 'never' is not in my dictionary, and it's not in God's either...ANYTHING can happen through God. We have got to have a positive attitude that things WILL change and not that they will never be solved!

when I was watching this, I was thinking, somebody said that happiness is "simply", just look at the bright side and forget about all the stuff that makes you sad.. I REALLY DONT AGREE with it, coz human only need one thing in order to be truely happy: LOVE. Problems arise in the world, its not a solution at all for us to just forget about them. As God says, we have to fight against sin, against selfishness, THATS how we can ever be happy

we live in a world today that doesnt really have no meanin. people watch television and get the illusion that everything is alright and that they dont need to do anything. but all we need to do is have compassion u know? we are able to help out and it wont hurt us but we always think of ourselves first. its when we thik of others first and ourselves last that we can ttruely make a change.

wow. those are impacting thoughts... but i agree that they can't just stay as thoughts. they've gotta be actions. i've lived among the downtrodden in foriegn lands, i've passed a beggar without helping her, i've forgotton about humanity in moments of self-centeredness.... and as Christ's body... that's gotta change.

Will this be out in theaters? Because that would be wonderful. I'm trying my best here to try and share this video with all my friends but it would be great if the documentary were out in theaters. Although the chances of a highly opinionated, religious-based documentary would have much interest with the outside world. Which just goes further to show how much even our country needs the love and compassion of God.

i think this is an excellent video that shows the present reality of our world as well as the results of the decisions that our leadership has taken in the past. We have separated the social work/responsibility from the Evangelism and - now we as today's leaders we need to start unifying the followers of Christ and take the decisions that will change our tomorrow. We messages like this - we need to move from good to great - from one to many - we were called to change this world!

The most powerful thing for me is that most of the video from the left side of the screen is from worship. Its a potent image, how happy and euphoric we are in our churches and youth groups, and how all too often we think of church as another entertainment source, another place to elate us, when its true purpose is to prepare us for the ministry of living lives that reconcile others to Christ.

I'm sitten in front of a 13-year-old-boy who is telling me his story. He was born on a little town on Brazil, he got addicted to drugs with 8 years. The police caught him and sent him to a house of other boys, where he knew Jesus and his life changed. His dream now is to be a pastor. Man, how God is big, and wonderful. Its nice to hear that God still love people and save his children. God bless you guys, be the change

this video is amazing. whoever put it together did such a good job. it is simple yet it capture so many of the problems we ignore on a daily basis, so well. you guys are awesome for putting yourselves in the video instead of pointing the fingers at everyone else even when you are responsible for changing the way people worship all across the world. humbling. thank you guys, this is perhaps the most powerful challenging video i have ever seen.

It's easy to post a comment here commending this video - but I guess at the end of the day if we don't actually get off our butts and DO SOMETHING about what we see, and if it doesn't cost our lives anything, then everything the I Heart Revolution stands for has failed.
My prayer is that in 2009 all who see "We're All In this Together" work towards fighting injustice, and not just for a fleeting moment to then get back to our everyday comfortable lives - but we make this our life.

100% agree on this! you have countries that have millions of rich people like in urban China who have Guicci, LV, send their children abroad and spend their money like nothing while also millions of people in the rural area struggle to pay for food and live in drink water contaminated in toxic metals. I am one of the ones that have personally experienced this trend.

Is this supposed to make ppl feel guilty about where they are born, how they live their lives, that they haven't experiened any natural or unnatural disasters? I'm pretty sure it's not, but it made me feel that way!
I agree with the actual message, partially, but how is it not 'fair' exactly? Those parts of the world have been on top at one point or another while the rest suffered, it's life, not everywhere will be great.
I do feel sorry for the unfortunate, but some ppl choose their lives.
