When he was beat badly, I started crying.

When he died I cried even more.

And when that guy called him a retard I lost it.

And the end with horatio saying he was proud of Eugene's, I lost it.

I love Eugene.

I can't say if this is my favorite H-focused episode, but #2.12 "Witness to Murder" has got to be in my top 5. This episode so emotionally draws me in & reveals the true heart and soul of our H-ERO we don't often get to see. David Caruso and Louis Mustillo (Eugene Thomas Walters) should have won all sorts of awards for their performances in this episode. Although, very sad... I have watched it over and over. McLachlan's ANGEL song is a perfect match. Thanks for sharing...Calleigh73 :-]

When Eugene was hospitalized from his injuries, Horatio came to visit him in the hospital. Eugene's face was bloody and his voice was slow, weak, quiet, and croaky when he asks Horatio "Did...we...get...the bad guy?". Horatio responds "Not yet!". Eugene is still weak fighting for his life. Although the mentally handicapped man's voice is still croaky, he begins to wine like a little child saying "I WANNA GO...WITH YOU!".
