I remember the last time I cried (Yes I am a U.S soldier) when Me and four of my squad members were on a special mission, it was all my fault I should've listened to my squad members that there was another person downstairs but I said we've just cleared and there is no one but I don't know I sent him downstairs and all I heard was about 15 shots and a scream that day changed my life I had an FN-F2000 with me and trust me I ran out of ammo in that room with blood all over the walls...

Yes, My two Grandfather's served in War War II with my uncle and my dad was in the Navy while I was growing up. We even have a Purple Heart in our family that I'm proud of! I do know what war is from both sides for I was in Israel in Dessert Storm even thou I'm GA Girl. I stand proud of my family and every tear we have cried.This is what makes us great that we are so strong that we cry with no shame!

@Mynameislewis1 No, you're not a show, but many people just can't comprehend what soldiers go through unless they either experience it themselves or it is shoved into their faces. It's a morbid thing, but sometimes it takes seeing the suffering of others to make other people see that the world isn't sunshine and lollipops. Even then some will fail to actually understand it, but there are those that will once they see things like this and gain a greater appreciation of just how good they have it.

Casualties of war is a very bad thing, and though it may be rude to take such pictures, people need to see, that in the war not machines are fighting, people are fighting. in retrospect, war is a total waste of human life, causing pain, despair, chaos and fear within everyone. with that being said, people today arnt ready to go to war; you cant take a man/woman just graduating high school and throw them into a cespool of death and destruction. physical training is not enough, because to be a good soldier you need to control emotions. A good example would be ancient Sparta, who trained and conditioned soldiers to kill the enemy mercilesly, and saw death as glory.

These soldiers are suffering because their country sends them abroad to pursue America's greedy ambitions to steal other people's oil and to destroy thier nations. Not one of them died at home defending the state like their vicims have. America refuses point blank to even subject it's troops to interntional law - that's how barbaric a nation it is. Yes, My two Grandfather's served in War War II with my uncle and my dad was in the Navy while I was growing up. We even have a Purple Heart in our family that I'm proud of! I do know what war is from both sides for I was in Israel in Dessert Storm even thou I'm GA Girl. I stand proud of my family and every tear we have cried.This is what makes us great that we are so strong that we cry with no shame!

Your putting all these pictures together of people in there darkest hour, people who have watched there friends be murdered, people whos worlds are falling around them. My best friend died in my arms being shot by a sniper and a guy was taking photos of it. I could not believe it. It's a morbid thing, but sometimes it takes seeing the suffering of others to make other people see that the world isn't sunshine and lollipops. Even then some will fail to actually understand it, but there are those that will once they see things like this and gain a greater appreciation of just how good they have it.

Casualties of war is a very bad thing, and though it may be rude to take such pictures, people need to see, that in the war not machines are fighting, people are fighting. in retrospect, war is a total waste of human life, causing pain, despair, chaos and fear within everyone. with that being said, people today arnt ready to go to war; you cant take a man/woman just graduating high school and throw them into a cespool of death and destruction. physical training is not enough, because to be a good soldier you need to control emotions. A good example would be ancient Sparta, who trained and conditioned soldiers to kill the enemy mercilesly, and saw death as glory.

@Patronu, Been to Bucharest in october, is beautiful city and felt the warmth of the peoples hearts all around me. I rented car and drove the route to Cluj, stopping many times and was met with a genuine smile EVERY time. I will never forget it as long as i live. war hasnt solved anything except for ending slavery, fascism, nazism, and communism im in the us army n im not here to dog anyones opinion on war but ive talked to chaplins in the us army n sometimes to save a life u must take one theres men n women who fight n die everyday to make sure that you guys have a nice safe place for you and your kids to sleep please if you have a mean thing to say keep it to yourself and respect those who dont come home thank you

its hard on everyone in a war and to see the hurt and pain that they go throu .. why cant the hold world just learn to live in peace and love for one another . sufferin is not easy to watch for those who dont make it and tears of joy for the ones who do .. my cousin made it home from vietnam but his soul died . he eventeally killed his wife and himself she lived in constant fear of him to the end .. war is hard on the soldiers and their familys and the kids who are left alone in the end

smallyb2009, why do you blame it all on bush? the senate has to agree to go to war, not just bush. and maybe we wouldn't have gone to iraq the first time if iraq didn't invade the surrounding countries. maybe we wouldn't be at war if we weren't attacked on 9/11. i'm not an expert or anything i'm just sayin. we may have not made the smartest choices but were iraqs anybetter.

You wanna know why I personally honor our troops? Because they are not just sacrificing their life for us, but also for another group of people who need it. Sure there are things that they are not proud of but what do you expect? Could you do what they do? I dont think so, all you can do is hold your anti war poster for a couple hours and then eat lunch at soup plantation

Saddam never killed millions of his people. He was tried and executed for killing 150 people. We did not go in their to put Saddam on trial. We went there looking for WMDs. How could you forget why went to Iraq?
Regarding "future" killing your arguement is purely speculation. We boxed Saddam in with sanctions and no fly zones.

The 1.1 to 1.3 million Iraqi deaths does not include the deaths caused by sanctions and embargos.
If you are talking about Imperialism then for Afghanistan add the almost 2 million deaths caused by the Soviet Invasion.
Afghan Muslims were our friends when the Soviets invaded and the Afghans became our enemies when the Soviet Union collapsed.
The Quran says Christians and jews are friends of each other more than friends of Muslims.How true that Prophecy proved to be.
