  • The 351 Cleveland is NOT a big block, it is not in the 90 degree small block family, but it is in the 335 series of ford SMALL blocks -- Get your fucking facts straight

  • 351 Cleveland's were dimensionally close to a 350 chevy internally look up the specs 3.5 stoke 4.0 bore the rods are close to 5.7 inches long and the blocks are close to the same size but the heads are quite a bit bigger and the crank is heavier and a little bigger not much though, this engine is smaller than a 351 Windsor and makes better power and sounds better. they did make small block c6 transmissions, you will find them in mustangs and torinos. personally I liked the c4 better for a car.

  • @WKoalaS Thanks man, the 72's are nice. I don't care much for the gran torinos but the 72s are still pretty sexy

  • I always out ran the boys that had Windsors with my 71 cleveland

  • Clevelands are NOT big or small blocks. The are a 335 designation. They are kind of a mid block. The 351 Cleveland didnt run a c6....they were a small block bellhousing so they could only run a c4 unless you convert over a C6 with the bh.

The M' or modified clevelands all were the C6 auto.

Not small or big...they are their own block........so are the M's.

  • @ericlarsen Ford C6 transmissions do not have a removable bellhousing they are either a small block version for 351 or a big block version for a 429 I have owned both. And yes 351 cleaveland Torinos did come with C6 trannys from the factory not all but they were available.

  • come on take of the oil

  • Had one just like it in 80, ran the hell out of it . Hit a telephone pole, knocked a travel trailer over then finally ran it into the local mortuary and went through windshield. Paper boy found me almost frozen it was below zero that car was bad luck.

  • @mcgaugh57 haha maybe it just had a bad driver..

  • @smokin71 I can see why you would think that. But it's the only car I have ever wrecked. And I have owned many muscle cars.

  • @mcgaugh57 well that's good, there's not enough of them left!

  • @smokin71 this Torino was made into dirttrack stock car

  • @mcgaugh57 what? this guy owns this car

  • @jacobstern14048 Not the same car doopy

  • @mcgaugh57 ok poopy

  • @smokin71 makes ours worth more right haha

  • are u doing burnout on OIL ?

  • you know the made a 72 torino with a very similar front its a very very rare car one of the most rarest ford cars and im a proud owner of one if you would like to see it i will make a small vid on it im about to start on it in a few weeks its in pretty rough shape what also makes it very rare is its a 302 3 speed on the colum and it was order with GT interior but its not GT plus its 2 door with single seats instead of a binch seat most 3 speed had bench seat this is a very odd ball. love the vid

  • @coolstuf12345 i would like to see your video because im a little confused about what you said because a 72 is completely different from 70/71

  • @ltd429 actually they are very much the same in looks but diff years see in 72 the torino you see all the time is the gran torino with the ovell grill but mine was the very first 72 befor they changed the look of it in the middle of the year 1972 ill show you let me get a vid ill send it to you

  • @coolstuf12345 cool i really want to see it and we all know that ford was big on the half-year changes

  • @ltd429 Exacfly right 70/71s are totally different from 72 on 70/71s are unibody cars and 72 and up are full frame cars a 72 is a 72 is a 72. They were not changed in the middle of the year!

  • 351c is considered a big block because it has a 9.5 deck height,a351w has a 9.2 deck height same as the standard 302,the 351m has a 400 block with cleavland rotating assembly,

  • hey i got the same car i also got side pipes but no lazer stripe and i got a cobra grill and the scoope is painted black

  • GET SOME !!!!

  • I have a 351 Cleveland on an engine stand with plans to build a 408 stroker out of it. I'm not sure what I'm going to put it in. I'm a big fan of the 68, 69, 70 F100. Either that or a Torino if I can find one worth rebuilding. The 351C was even marketed by Ford as "The small block that runs like a big block." If you want to get technical it's a Mid block. No matter what you call it....IT'S KILLER!!!

  • nice carr man

  • Love those 1970-71 Torinos!!!!

  • This looks like my husbands!!!! All rebuilt from two different cars that were junkers!!! He is looking to sell it sometime if he could get the right money for it.

  • Hell of a burnout man, now its time for some new rubber

  • I would have been more impressed if you did the burnout in the other direction.

  • son unos gatos el torino es argentino

  • i seen this car on 421 want 2 sale

  • I had a car identical to this. Loads of fun

  • Who's drivin' that car? haha

  • hahah Heck Yeah!!

  • nice car, do you drag race it

  • It has the 351 Cleveland in it...there's the huge debate on whether it's a big or small block. talking about displacement it's a small block, same size as a 351 Windsor which is regarded as a small block, but it has the characteristics of a big block including interchangeable distributors.

  • i would say it a small block the chevy 350 is considered a small block but the 351W you can pump massive amounts of hp out of them

  • @8IRISHBLESSING I think you can pump massive amounts of power out of a chevy 350 too.

  • i know i was saying you can pimp massive amounts of hp out of them both of them

  • @smokin71 351c's are BIg Blocks because of the water pump and head design.

  • doppler radar is goin to think there is a storm cloud over your house! these torinos are 1 of my dads favorites. nice car, nicer burnout!

  • nice 71 Torino GT...is it the Cleveland or a big block. rare color too and "laser stripes" look correct. I had a Red 70 model with the cleveland and hurst 4-speed/console. What a car...still have the window sticker, but alas, not the car!!

  • i thought the 351 clevland was a big block

  • Negative, the 351 is a small block whether Windsor or Cleveland, the big block I was referring to was the option of having a 428 Cobra Jet 70 Torino, they sound so nice with a good exhaust sytem...There was also an SCJ or Super Cobra Jet that I don't know much about other than the name, was obviously more horsepower, geared towards racing.

  • heck yeah ya sum bitch pile of monkey nuts!!! whos driving that car? jack roush? hahahah

  • Nice car. I prefer the 68,69 ones. Learned how to drive in a 69 429. Gosh it was nice. Keep the oil clean....

  • 0:40 hahahahah love the Red Neck voice lmao

  • Ain't no burnout complete with a "HECK YEAH" :D

  • lmao heck yea

  • older cars have so much going for them!

runs rings around any of the modern plastics....

  • that they do, i hate the way cars are med these days except for ones like the mustang

  • this looks just like my first car but mine was a torino cobra had 429 cobra in it was one bad ass baby ......

  • ive got one just like this but with hideaways and a 429. but its red

    nice car though, great sound

  • Yeah this has a rebuilt 351 Cleveland from a 70 Torino. Right now its sporting a C6 but I have plans for a Tremec T-56 6 speed when I have the time and money.

  • hey baronxsa-only real americans can appreciate the pure horsepower, control, and torque, engine rev and excitement that comes from one of these burnouts ! quit bitchin and drive cars like you stole 'em! flog those ponies! horsepower rocks!

  • nothing more than horsepower and straight lines... ok, it`s your way, but I really don`t get it. for me excitement is so much more.

  • An old friend of mine had one identical to this...had a 351 Cleveland in it and automatic transmission..nice car dude!

  • Sorry for my english but this motor is a 302 or 351 or 454?

  • no 454, Ford had 302, 351m, 351c, 390, 427,428,429,460.. i believe

  • god damned skippiy, fuckin member that to

  • If you could afford good cars in cuba you would also do them.

  • What a stupid this russian...can you country build something similar? ahahaha a Lada can do that? ahahahaha

Only russians could invent such a stupid thing as vodca...

  • Where did I say that lada is any good? Any car can do a burnout, don`t be stupid. Ow, I got it. This cars are so afraid of corners that they can only do a burnouts. Ok.

  • Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!

  • Beautiful Torino! I used to own a 70. It was red with the laser stripes. I still have some of the parts from it. Sure wish I had it now!! Unreal burnout!!

  • Yeah, me too a Red 70 Torino GT with the fading yellow to red laser stripes that ended BEFORE the "gills". 351 cleveland and hurst 4-speed, buckets, console. Loved that car, stepDad bought when came home from Vietnam. I loved riding with him, going fast, doing burnouts. When he passed, he made sure my Mom knew to save for me and she did. But I let the car go when I joined the Navy. Sure wish I could get her back.

  • bet those tires are done.

  • I wish I was driving that car.

  • now there is a real burnout

  • Beautiful car.The laser stripe would reflect at night, and it was neat as hell.Well done

  • TOO! FRIGGEN COOL!

  • My mom had the exact same car for her 1st car. Very nice!

  • its a pity that don´t make any more cars

like this , congratulations bye !!!
