These early Disney cartoons are so great to watch. The attention to detail is genius. It's like nothing is overlooked. The sound and picture match up wonderfully. It's truly a marvel to behold. No wonder that people used to go to the theater simply to watch these shorts. They're so fantastic.

@RivaJane Perhaps you are too young to remember. The "Ha-cha-cha-cha" is actually a Jimmy Durante trademark. Jimmy had a very prominent proboscis. It's not so much a jazz inference, other than the fact that Jimmy sometimes performed jazz. The wolf mimics Jimmy's well known gesture. It's quite comical in the proper context.

yeah, you're missing the point that all these stories are set in a rural area with woods next to the village-like town, so that's the main danger in a village - the wild animals. I lived in Russia and we had a summer house , so in that run down village next to the woods, i remember as a child my grandma telling me not to go alone into the woods because a wolf might eat me.

Well, she probably said that so i dont get lost, but wolves have been known to come down and snatch babies and attack ppl
