Hi. My 2 yr old really likes this as do I. I plan on buying 8043. I've looked at your website, do you have a parts list for items not originally included in 8043 please?
@PhotoshopMyPic If you use Brickstore software than you can see pictures of all the parts. You can find the link to download the program on my website.
You'd need a standard 8043, the additional parts will be between €150 and €200 if you want to do the full MOD. I get my parts from my own collection and from Bricklink.
@Rhodeslover1 Theres a list with item 3941 and 84559 etc. but i dont find theese items in the lego shop etc. And can i use the 88000 and not the expensive batterie box? o.O I want to build your 80434,too but when i need pieces that i dont find, mhhhhh...... it's not good^^ pls help me if you want :)
@Rhodeslover1 Thank you veryy much!!! I've build this excavator with your Instructions and it's fantasticly!!!! All works better , so muuuch :) Thank you!!!
Can you tell me what power supply you use? I have looked at your web page and I see you use something different than the stander battery box. What is it?
@ILoveMixery Yes, you are right. Maybe even more, if you'd have to buy all the extra parts. The 8878 rechargeable battery is very expensive, but for me as builder it's definately worth it. I use it in almost all of my MOC's.
Oh my god! Thank you. You are my hero! I was about to do the same thing with mine but I didn't know where to start. I operate a Hitachi 270 hoe for a living so the joystick controls are better for both the real and model versions. 10/5 stars
Well I was just thinking since ya went through all the trouble to set up the controls so they are so realistic you might as well put them to use. Very cool designs and build
@noudgoertz 1. Omdat de grote veel te groot is (OK, deze is een beetje klein) 2. Omdat het draaipunt op een veel betere plek ligt. 3. Omdat ie veel verder naar binnen beweegt. Maw met de kleine kun je veel beter echt graven.
@MrFeichtinator1 Yes, that would be possible. You'd need only a small number of extra parts. You can see the assembly of the lights in the instructions on my website jurgenstechniccorner
Rhodeslover I got this set today but did my own version with the xl motor in the boom, I stool have to change between modes and had to change gear ratio on medium and xl
You can buy the PF-parts from LEGO themselves at their online lego.shop.,com.
You can see everything in the instruction-files on my website. They are very standard PDF-files (found all over the web). Get an Abode-viewer to view them.
It's a bit more difficult than the standard 8043, but not too much. Do you mean how much time it takes to buld one ? Depending on your skills, between 3 and 6 hours, assuming you have all the parts at hand.
@sam12321able What do you mean with "tutorial for joystick" ? Instructions how to make this joystick are in the building instructions. See description.
From what I can figure out. I need the xml file. I will follow your instructions to download.

Line tag mismatch, column %3; %4

@bachaddict That's weird. I can open it without problems, I just tried. So the file on my website is correct. I use Brickstore v1.1.16

@Dag0bert1 Those numbers refer to [arts numbers on bricklink, not to official lego numbers. And yes, you can also use battery 88000

MrFeichtinator1 1 year ago
@MrFeichtinator1 It's completely up to you if you want to change it. The original setup works nicely, my setup works a bit better.
Rhodeslover1 1 year ago
No I've changed the chassis a bit to reduce the side-effects (tracks driving) during slewing.

Is it possible to put only the lights in the finished original excavator?

Rhodeslover1 1 year ago
@Rhodeslover1 is there anyway to do that with the original battery box>??please help
Sk8tiLitsL8 1 year ago
@Sk8tiLitsL8 It might be possible, but it'would require a redesign of the upperstructure to fit it in. This won't be easy.

Most other technic treaded-sets have only yellow or grey wheels which are boring.
