  • From what I can figure out. I need the xml file. I will follow your instructions to download.

  • Hi. My 2 yr old really likes this as do I. I plan on buying 8043. I've looked at your website, do you have a parts list for items not originally included in 8043 please?

    Thanks.

  • @benknightmobile All you need to know is on my website jurgenstechniccorner

  • WANT

  • thxx for the help

  • one more thing can you make a parts list with pictures of only the parts that are NOT in the 8043 set

  • @PhotoshopMyPic If you use Brickstore software than you can see pictures of all the parts. You can find the link to download the program on my website.

  • hey nice model

i figured out how to get even better buket movement than that but yours still works nicely

  • How do you make those awesome controller?

  • @OscarFerdy I did not design the controller myself, it designed by one Jason Railton.

  • I tried to open the parts list but Brickstore can't parse it :(

Line tag mismatch, column %3; %4

  • @bachaddict That's weird. I can open it without problems, I just tried. So the file on my website is correct. I use Brickstore v1.1.16

  • @Rhodeslover1 Works now, maybe it got corrupted while downloading :)

  • hello what is the list of items to buy to have the lights and the remote

  • @valentin50m jurgenstechniccornerDOTcom/instructions/8043%20Parts%20list.bsx

  • @valentin50m You'll need the brickstore program to open it. I didn't have any lights but it's still awesome.

  • it is a bit slow but nice work

  • it is a bit slow

  • You'd need a standard 8043, the additional parts will be between €150 and €200 if you want to do the full MOD. I get my parts from my own collection and from Bricklink.

  • @Rhodeslover1 Hi, are all pieces in this 8043 the same how in the normal 8043? Its very cool that u made instruction for all people who love lego!!!

    pls answer me!!!

    sry for my bad english

  • @Dag0bert1 You need a 8043 and a number of extra parts. you can find a parts list on jurgenstechniccorner

  • @Rhodeslover1 Theres a list with item 3941 and 84559 etc. but i dont find theese items in the lego shop etc. And can i use the 88000 and not the expensive batterie box? o.O I want to build your 80434,too but when i need pieces that i dont find, mhhhhh...... it's not good^^ pls help me if you want :)

  • @Dag0bert1 Those numbers refer to [arts numbers on bricklink, not to official lego numbers. And yes, you can also use battery 88000

  • @Rhodeslover1 Thanks !!!!!!!!

  • @Rhodeslover1 Thank you veryy much!!! I've build this excavator with your Instructions and it's fantasticly!!!! All works better , so muuuch :) Thank you!!!

  • All the upgrades, how much were they all together? And where did you get those parts for the controller?

  • i was able to make the back a little longer and fit a normal battery box also my drive motors are on the undercarage, connected to the original gears

  • im scared

  • Can I use 88000 to replace the 8878 battery box? does it strong enough to power those motors?

  • @wingkong I think it should work, but I've never tried it.

  • Can you tell me what power supply you use? I have looked at your web page and I see you use something different than the stander battery box. What is it?

  • @1softsniper1 As you can see in the video, I use the 8878 rechargeable battery

  • too bad... all this stuff that you added costs almost as much as the 8043 itself lol

  • @ILoveMixery Yes, you are right. Maybe even more, if you'd have to buy all the extra parts. The 8878 rechargeable battery is very expensive, but for me as builder it's definately worth it. I use it in almost all of my MOC's.

  • Oh my god! Thank you. You are my hero! I was about to do the same thing with mine but I didn't know where to start. I operate a Hitachi 270 hoe for a living so the joystick controls are better for both the real and model versions. 10/5 stars

  • me lo hanno regalato oggi!!!!!!! corro a montarlo subito!!!!!! spettacolare!!!!!!:-)

  • Thats cool. Nice job on the ex

  • You need to learn to operate dude. That bucket should start dumping as you are swinging not when you stop over the box. Strart curling it earlier

  • @madedave I'm a builder (& musician), not an operator.

  • @Rhodeslover1

Well I was just thinking since ya went through all the trouble to set up the controls so they are so realistic you might as well put them to use. Very cool designs and build

  • waarom gebruik je de kleine graafbak?

  • @noudgoertz 1. Omdat de grote veel te groot is (OK, deze is een beetje klein) 2. Omdat het draaipunt op een veel betere plek ligt. 3. Omdat ie veel verder naar binnen beweegt. Maw met de kleine kun je veel beter echt graven.

  • But I can let it like it be or?

  • @MrFeichtinator1 It's completely up to you if you want to change it. The original setup works nicely, my setup works a bit better.

  • No I've changed the chassis a bit to reduce the side-effects (tracks driving) during slewing.

  • Is it possible to put only the lights in the finished original excavator?

  • @MrFeichtinator1 Yes, that would be possible. You'd need only a small number of extra parts. You can see the assembly of the lights in the instructions on my website jurgenstechniccorner

  • @Rhodeslover1 Ok thank you

  • One more question..

Is the chassis of the original the same like your modification?

  • I put xl in mine

  • Rhodeslover I got this set today but did my own version with the xl motor in the boom, I stool have to change between modes and had to change gear ratio on medium and xl

  • @Sk8tiLitsL8 Nice work. If you'd make all the functions independent, it adds a lot to the playing fun.

  • @Rhodeslover1 is there anyway to do that with the original battery box>??please help

  • @Sk8tiLitsL8 It might be possible, but it'would require a redesign of the upperstructure to fit it in. This won't be easy.

  • can he drive with blocks in your shovel?

    ps nice work!

  • @thepenstinks Yes it can,

  • You can buy the PF-parts from LEGO themselves at their online lego.shop.,com.

You can see everything in the instruction-files on my website. They are very standard PDF-files (found all over the web). Get an Abode-viewer to view them.

  • Can u tell me how to get that third reiceiver in I needed to know and can't download files on web sight what motor is it hooked up to?

  • No, the standard 8043 doesn't come with lights.

  • are the lights you see in the movie sees the excavator in the box?

  • Yes, but the original model does that as well. And it's quite heavy.

  • jaysus she shakes alot when she fukin tracks

  • I ordered mine :)

  • Very Good Job!!!

  • It's a bit more difficult than the standard 8043, but not too much. Do you mean how much time it takes to buld one ? Depending on your skills, between 3 and 6 hours, assuming you have all the parts at hand.

  • is it hard to build it

how much time have you spend for it?

  • The black tread wheels are sexy!

Most other technic treaded-sets have only yellow or grey wheels which are boring.

  • joystick is very awesome didn't use the other ideas but still its very awesome

  • nice please make tuturial for joy sticks

  • @sam12321able What do you mean with "tutorial for joystick" ? Instructions how to make this joystick are in the building instructions. See description.

  • the tracks are to tight

  • please make tutorial for joystick

  • motor is moving very slowly with the wheels, but goddammed i like the joystick

  • why are the tracks move so hard? its shaking a lot why is that

  • @Tokatt I think it's caused by the backlash and an uneven surface.

  • this is what i call creativity

  • This is perfect !

  • John Deer controls huh

  • Trouwens je muziek mag er ook wezen. ;-)

Thanks for listening and watching! :-)
