He has some real "grit" to his songs, to i themagery he uses in his videos. The man is all around artist. he paints, he writes songs, he has a keen eye for observing the human-ness in all people. He shows warts and all of the people yet he still seems to come across with this message that even the unlovely can be loved . I know, hokey, but that's the way I see his work.
