This is one of the most powerful music videos I've ever seen... If she was also able to play seriously the guitar, not just scratching it casually, she0d be perfect, but she still is one of my top top top favourite singers, she's simply amazing!!! Love love love!!! Keep on! :)
I got redirected from Rage against the machine and thought she would do a cover of their "wake up" and I clicked because I wanted to hear her do the screams at the end.
@ivanarato -- Ya i dont think the 90s were that bad. There was alot of good music, bands and artists to come out of the 90s. although, it depends on what time in the 90s. The early to mid 90s were great. But the later half of the 90s were another story...
Omfg she is amazing. But seriously, I've replayed this video like 4 times and can't figure out where in the hell Alanis gets a guitar from. It's like one second she's singing into the mic and then it cuts to the drummer and when it goes back to her, she's shredding on an elec. DAMN. She's so incredible guitars materialize from thin air when she performs... XD
Yeah; well, that's usually required unless one is already thoroughly =soaked= in Buddhism, mindfulness meditation, old-school psychodynamic and new-school cognitive psychology. Her lyrics make it clear she is =steeped= in the stuff.
Hello Shanixi1, Jesse Tobias is a Texan guitarist of Mexican origin.. he is the one without the shirt of course. Jesse was her other tour guitarist for the eighteen-month world tour in support of Jagged Little Pill 1996.
Does she have parkinson's? Or is she autistic in a way? She always has these stiff movements with her hands... Is she extremely nervous to be on stage?? Whatever it is, I can't watch her live performances...they make me feel uneasy. I just want to say, dance or DO something...don't stand there so stiff and tape your arms to your side if you aren't dancing! I love her! I just can't watch her...
I can see how someone (below) would say they don't like her other cds like they did Jagged Little Pill, but her other music is beautiful. Jagged Little Pill is just so fueled. it's like teenage feelings and anger. but she's always been good and continues to be good.
I liked post india Alanis better. She has deeper lyrics now that aren't so in your face. Plus her new album is being said to bne her best since jlp and I agree.
no it hasn't, she has many different voice styles, its just that now shes more mature, have you ever heard her 2 albums before jagged little pill? you wont recognize her, listen to that voice..
one of the most relevant voices of the 20 century

Alanis rocks. Plus she doesn't need to where props or funky make up to be heard. She's the music.

Have u lied? Have u stolen? Jesus said if you look at a woman with lust you have committed adultery with her in your heart. have u done that?
If God judge’s u by the Ten Commandments will u be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? Does this concern you?
Do u need a Savior from your sins?
Jesus (The Son of God)came, lived a sinless life, died on the cross (for our sins) and rose again on the third day.

En ik ben nog steeds Alanisgek.

She seems so frustrated at that time..
I love her voice and music, but her performance and looks are so frustrated and mad..
I think she had a great en beautiful transformation during her trip in India..
She still has that great and strong voice, but she seems more peaceful and happy..
Love her

I used to love this woman's music but not any more. Her old material like this will always be classics in my heart.
