But I assure you, it is not BWV 1004!

  • omG!

    lol..

a sure thing is that i m not gn play the violin again guyz ..!

    lol

  • I'm playing this on marimba...D:

  • I did, too... :(

  • search " Anton Polezhayev " he is amazing too

  • ay que mona!! muy bien tocada

  • Doesn't traditional wisdom advice against playing fast and difficult pieces at a too early stage?

This girl can go anywhere. Awesome, beyond belief, stunning.

  • Oh my god...

i almost stop my music seeing something like this...

  • Hmm..Even better from 2003!! :P I can't wait hearing how does she play today!~~ <3

  • SHE ROCKS. MY SOUL. LOVELY...

  • Lovely. Reminds me of my youth when I used to play that.

  • Wow i am 9 and just posted a video

  • waw she really have talent!

  • Very nice. Great intonation and timing.

  • good bow arm for a nine year old, thumbs up^^

  • obviously not perfect but pretty good for a nine year old :)

I think her violin's a bit big for her though

  • 9 years old... wow. Great playing!

  • oh my god!!!

    she is amazing~

  • oh my god...i cant even play like that...and im older than her....but well, i guess she's played longer than me...

    her intonation is like...amazing...

  • my goodness...very impressive.

  • Couple of finger exercises, a few more years, and she's off to Julliard!

  • just enjoy the performance people...it is well done.

  • WONDERFUL!!

  • simply great for a 9 year old.

very good intonation.....and great bow arm.

  • WOW!!!!

  • she is not Suzuki Method.

  • The Suzuki Method is the ONLY way to go. The only reason you hate it is because you don't know how to teach it the right way!

  • I hope she enjoys playing, then she can play alot when she gets older.

  • I JUST played this peice for an audition. I am 18, and senior in high school. I can't believe how good this girl is playing this. She played it better than me.

  • you're such a sweet person, granted this baby is quite amazing.

  • She's a good player, but part of me can't help wondering whether it would be better for her to wait until she has a great sense of musical maturity before attempting to perform Bach? The notes are there and intonation is reasonable, but there is no shape to the piece. It's not her fault, I blame Suzuki (which as a violin teacher, I hate). She'll be a great player if she continues to work on her technique. When she has a greater musical maturity i'd love to listen to her play this piece again.

  • wow you are deaf if you dont think this piece was not played exceptionally. PS THE SUZUKI METHOD IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD... HOW MANY 19 YEAR OLDs in AMERICNA can play like this let alone 9. she is playing this note for note without sheet music and nails every note... when she gets older and has more control of her finger and her ears develope (kids ears dont hear loud well) she will be a master !

  • Oops! sorry my message is not a reply to your comment,i meant to reply to Cath251981.sometimes the system doesn't work properly. sorry again.

  • i am also as a teacher don't like suzuki method, though I use its songs along with the traditional method.but you know everything depends on the child.

  • Such a random comment you've been posting around here.

  • my comment was a response to "Cath251981",if you read her comment(in the first page of comments) you will realize if my comment was random or not!

  • shes awesome

  • Thank you for a lot of comment.

Now,She starts it again from basics.:-)

    It is Boeing,breathing,etc.

  • Of course... she have talent... but poor little girl!! Practice violin could be good, but please!!

  • hardout....wow.

  • she sucks

  • YOU'RE SO MEEEAAAAAN!!! HAHA

  • Wow, this piece is very difficult but she's incredible, she's very precise and in tune, and she has got a wonderful sound.

  • She sounds so good. I'm sure you're proud and for good reason. She's great.

  • of course we critisize the 'sweet' girl, we arent judging her on how 'sweet' she is, how stupid to bring that up. That's like saying 'Oh, how can you critisize that person's singing? They are such a sweet person'.

  • wow that was amazing - great job, i can tell you must have practised that for a long time. It sounded very nice

  • Precocious and talented girl. The violin has a great sound, too.

  • Saying she won't be famous is silly! Many real artists past and present were very late bloomers. Some didn't start til their teens! She will need to work very hard though, but she's on the right track i'd say. Build the perfect sound etc in your head before attempting to execute. Well done, very good work.

  • wonderful! I wish I could play the violin, sadly only the piano but maybe someday I'll be able to play the violin and play like her lol

  • amazing.

  • Ugh.. I can't stand it when people will say that just because someone is very young that means they shouldn't be critisized at all. Constructive critisism is how you learn on an instrument. I find the comments saying "She's only 8 years old, no one critisize her!" Much more ignorant than som constructive critisism.

As for what I think, I will judge her on her violin playing, not her age.. And I think she's a decent player, not great.. But decent.

  • Utterly meaningless comment. What's the meaning of decent and great? So unless you're Heifetz you're only decent but not great? People need to learn vocab. beyond limited ones such as "good" and "bad". I see so many Youtubers leave stupid comments such as "Milstein better" or "Oistrakh is the best". Ironically your comment isn't constructive AT ALL. Constructive criticism will be along the line of "she can put greater force on the down beats" etc.

  • she only needs to practice kamon how you with 9 years

  • i cant believe. people here just criticize the little sweet girl. she is really great.

    nice peformance.

  • im agree¡¡

  • I play the violin and i know... go to this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETvM202j2-8 <- this girl is really good...

  • this girl is way better than the girl you promote. she is out of tune all over..

  • Then you must have a problem. I too hear the out of tune notes, but they are not all over. Again as I have posted on a few of these "young prodigies" there is no emotion as the child has not matured enough to play it emotionally. Suzuki has kids learn to quickly without any emotion at all.

  • kaisama9 how can u predict the girls future from this performance which was really good. watch her in 1 year playin the bartok no.2

  • She is okay...but not amazing...there are many younger and more talented violinists than her...She is good, but wont be famous...oh but the violin u made is nice.

  • when you were 9 years old, could you play like that? thats right, now stfu.

who are you to say she won't be famous?

    idiots these days...

  • kaisama... unless you've got some advice, you need to stop acting like a douche.

she's made excellent progress from 8 to 9... good video, i liked it.

  • kaisama do you study with hagai? i think she is great

  • wow i played this song when i was 14

she made a few mistakes here and there but it was at the right tempo and sounded very nice...

    good job!

  • 8 years old ->

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JrB7OqrJxs

  • You made the girl and the violin? wow!! Nice!!

  • Very nice violin. But I think it's a bit big for her.

  • If I may say she has something. But she requires more training. But then again it could have been that she was shy to play for an audience hence the some of the sqeekes. But I would have to say that she is very talented. In fact I was just wondering, which Partita this was? I myself have not taken the liberty in looking into the Bach Partitas but this piece has always captivated my interests.

  • it's the Partita #2-Giga...right before the Chaconne >_<, beastly piece of music. Yea that girl needs more practice to be honest-tone, style, and intonation problems. But she's above the average level within her age group (nice violin btw)

  • u made that violin???

  • yes. I made two violins.

This is the first. 1/2 size.
