I live in northvancouver right below the tram station and last week they finished updating it and now its capable of running 12 meters per second. Last time i rode was yesterday and they ran it at 12ms and it felt like there was no cable! I love GrouseMountain!
You were in a much better position within the car than I was. I had all the haze to contend with plus the reflections of a yellow sweater in the window (of my video)looked bad.

I love this tram ride because you get to listen to all the people who have never been on it before freak out when it sways over the two towers.

Our son was scared to death. He was begging to get off but he was much better for the ride down after ice skating all day, a beautiful place.
