The producers of Run Devil Run wrote the song, then they needed someone to record vocals for a demo so that they could sell the song.

They had Ke$ha sing the DEMO, it's not her song. SME bought the song and SNSD recorded it.

Ke$ha's version was never released here because it was never her song. I would know. I live in America.
