in this economy the military is a last resort for us cause theres no jobs and college is a bitch when u r poor so who will pay for it ,the army and other branches. how am I going to get laid in college when my legs were blown up or disfugured . 1/4 of the homeless are vets .

I was particularly amused by the inclusion of irrelevant pics of car crashes, parades, etc. for the shock/filler value. Fact of the matter is, war toys have always been among young boys' favorites, simply due to their taste for dynamic, movement-filled imagery. Ask any child psyc. Also, nearly all military recruiting effort is focused on men in their late teens who are old enough to make their own descisions.

An excellent, shocking piece of agitprop, surely deserving of a wider audience. It demonstrates with vigour the way in which war is sanitized by the media and indeed by the armed forces themselves, to the extent that some people still consider it acceptable for their young children to revel in it. My youngest is just about to turn 16, and the only toy weapon we have ever permitted in this house is a water pistol.
