@LORDJAVI131 What do I use? I liek charlie cheese bait myself, I dont use any other. Check out the 17 and 30lb blues we caught several months back off of it.

Best bait... Find the Tilapia netters and give them a couple bucks for their fish guts. They supplied my Pop with guts and he suplied them with a few cats.

You're only supposed to keep the corn not the liquid...you ever heard of that new invention called "Rubber Gloves" Haaaa. Screw a stick to a coffee or paint can to scoop the stuff out but put holes in it to let the liquid out. My Pop used to even put little dead fish in his chum.... Now THAT was a bad smell!

everytime i go to the lake i dont catch shit when i am fishing on the land near the park area. no fish NEVER go there at all. u need a boat on these lakes? do you? pm me.

@Dano78229 Hit the beach cove at this time of year. Cast way out. Fish along the weedbeds and rocks. Hit spider island at the right boat ramp. The lakes loaded, just gotta find the stucture.

Thats the problem, you have to know the lake. Fish feed at differant times in diff places at diff times of the year. Start hiting the cats on the South faceing rocky banks.

OHHH!!!! LOL, When the boat wa jumping out of the water it was heavier on one side than the other which caused the boat to drop to one side. I was saying watch the console and you can see the movement. Old vid, LOL, hard to recal these things!!! Thanks for watching and keeping me on my toes!!!

I don't know which part of the vid you are talking about. If Caleb did something that looked wrong, he had a reason! That kid can outfish almost any adult! Hands tied behind his back. Hes been fighting fish by hinself since he was 4. Check some of the redfishing vids. I'll have one of him up in a few days.

He is fighting the fish with the rod, moving it up and down. I'm not sure if that really matters with redfish and cats but for some fish that would tare the hole in the lip bigger making it easier for them to get off. I know I would never fight a bass like that in my tourneys.

I've always pulled a fish to me and reeled down. Even more so with a bass in the weeds. I'm no pro, but I pull a bass up and out.

He's pulling the cats like that to keep them out of the rocks. The cats are swallowing the hook, so no no problem. The reds are tough mouthed, used to crushing crabs. You can pull hard enough to rip the hook out on the big ones. It happens in a vid that will be posted later in the week.

Salt Trout would never even get hooked that way. Rip right out!
