  • That's there protocol there. Some days where things are really busy they may have 2 starts max. It's isn't work the hassle and expense to shutdown, let it cool down, and then fire it right back up.

One still needs to be careful about leaving it unattended though. They don't leave it unattended though if there are people around.

  • @michaelmiller85 I understand what you are saying but being around it is not good nough they should be in it, you can switch pilots while it is running but you don't have to leave it unattended. And while it is running is the guy standing 20 ft in front of it going to see the warning lights if they go off or here the alarm while it is running

  • Leaving a helicopter running with nobody in the seat is not a good habit to get into

  • @prohelipilot1 it was idling. It's a waste of time and fuel to do a full shut down if you are going to take off again in a few minutes. It's not like it was unoccupied very long.

  • @prohelipilot1 I'd be more worried about that rope fence @2:49. It looks just about perfect to capture a Longranger's skid and roll it over..!

  • Awesome Video. If anybody ever wants to go flying I am always wanting to ride! Its my favorite thing in the world!

  • Just another day at the office :p
