Mac is pc just like almost any other home computer today. Any game can work with any o.s and maybe now people will see it when Steam came to mac, now game developers can see that also mac users want games. Guy who made Steam, Half Life etc.. (Gabe Newell) knows that windows is not only o.s for games. He was one of the first people who actually wanted to make games which work with Windows and now they're doing it for mac

Um, no, Macs are NOT better at video creation. Whatever FCP can push out, Adobe Premier Pro and Avid can do just as well,or better. Those are BOTH PC based programs btw. Adobe After Effects and 3DS MAX are industry standards in the special effects community, and those, again, are PC bases programs. As for music, I'm not even going to get into what Sony Acid is capable of.

Before you make sweeping comments, KNOW what you're talking about. Don't just assume like an idiot.

This is how I see it, Windows is more friendly towards gamers while Mac is more for the Media making user. The only let down of the Mac is it's price tag, the cheapest Mac costs far more then a new low end PC.

Yeah, but try running ANYTHING DirectX based on a Mac (which only uses OpenGL to my knowledge). Fact is, unless you're running a Mac PRO, the best card you can even get for a Macbook Pro is a 512Mb NVIDIA GTX430 card, whereas most laptop PC's for the same price can run a GTX480 @ 2GB, with the option to run BOTH DirectX and OpenGL. Macs limit themselves with running ONLY OpenGL.

The game designer, who uses DriectX, is forced to conform, which limits the Mac game library.

Windows will run a game 150-200% better than a mac due to DirectX (something that will never be available to Macs because MS owns the rights to DX). Macs can game, but not nearly as well as Windows and with a skimpy selection.
