This is very beautiful music. I would like to hear more and more music. Markos sings like an angel. Although Markos will lose his child voice, he has a chance to sing if he wants to continue persuing a singing career. Markos keep up the good work.

I cannot believe the silly people here debating whether this child is a tenor or a sop!  Listen to the tenor David Hobson at Christmas Carols in the Domain. he sings nearly every year. 2002 is possibly the best.

Is he a tenor or a boy soprano? He sang it in the tenor range, but the timbre of his voice is so high he could pass for a soprano if he can hit the notes in that range. Beautiful voice. Great song.

@ahfoe It sounds to me like he's singing it in the same key that everyone sings it which, I assume, is the key in which it was written. That's a high tenor voice. I can sing it in the exact same notes that he sings it, but I don't sound nearly as high because of the timbre of my voice. The timbre of his voice is that of a soprano, but can he the notes in the soprano range? That's the unanswered question. He's pretty old to be a boy soprano, but some people's voices don't change that much.

@4260laurel Click on any of these male singers that are linked here and listen to them. You'll find that they are singing exactly the same notes as Markos. He's singing in the tenor range. It's the timbre of his voice, the tonal quality that is high. The notes are high tenor so they're also within the soprano range. But he can sing the entire soprano range? And if he can, can he do so comfortably? My guess is that he can hit the soprano notes but is more comfortable singing tenor.

The sound quality is worse. In spite of this this boy had an angelic soprano and did an excellent job. Hopefullly he stayed on singing after his voice break.
