I just went to Greddy website and found out that Genesis Turbo upgrades were dropped from the list. I didn't bother to call them, but I have a feeling that Hyundai is already contemplating on putting in Theta II 2.4 I4 as the base option.

well, if you look at the competition and the price range there really isn't any other cars out there. The reason they say such a small difference between the 370 and Gc is because the 370 they test is the sports package and that starts at 33 or 34k. Quality wise, hyundai is up with Honda and toyota. Reliability long term wise I have no idea. They've went up since 2006 though.

the G37 may be slightly faster but it's not slightly more expensive. The cheapest G37 you can get with a manual is the $37K. The cheapest V6 Genesis with a manual is $25K.

I'm hoping 2nd or 3rd generation GC will come with two engine options:
something like Lambda V6 4.0 Turbo with 400HP, or Theta II I4 2.4 Turbo with 300HP. That'll be something to cheer about.
I just went to Greddy website and found out that Genesis Turbo upgrades were dropped from the list. I didn't bother to call them, but I have a feeling that Hyundai is already contemplating on putting in Theta II 2.4 I4 as the base option.

concept doesn't mean that's what you'll get in the final product. Better yet, you might not even get a final product at all. Yet, the ft-86 isn't schedule to even enter the market until late 2011. well, if you look at the competition and the price range there really isn't any other cars out there. The reason they say such a small difference between the 370 and Gc is because the 370 they test is the sports package and that starts at 33 or 34k. Quality wise, hyundai is up with Honda and toyota. Reliability long term wise I have no idea. They've went up since 2006 though.

try driving your mustang like you can drive this car. try super lap with your mustang. this cars engine is so close to the mitsubisih evo engine give it 2 years and this car will easily be able to spank that v8. your 8.4l or 7.0l engine compaired to the evos 2.0l is nothing. they crancked that evo engine up to 1142hp and drag it 1/4 mile in 7.5seconds. wheres your mustang on that one. give it a few years this car will be doing the same.

Why don't you test one out. How do you know it has a crappy driveline? And the motor is great. it's only the first true sports car they produced so they aint gonna make it like 350 hp to spank a 370Z. Next generations will most likely be more powerful after more research and stuff.
Low output would be like a Viper. only 500hp for that huge V-10. The Corvette can get more with a V-8. Nothing against Vipers.

And yes this car they made for tuners. Yes any car can be moded. But they put the 2.0T out for the tunrs with an easy to tune engine that has great potential. It's an Evo engine just detuned a little so it won't take away from the V-6 models so the V-6 model can compare with others like G37, etc..
Yeah it probably will be common by then but thats a while so who cares right now. By then there will be better things and such.

the G37 may be slightly faster but it's not slightly more expensive. The cheapest G37 you can get with a manual is the $37K. The cheapest V6 Genesis with a manual is $25K.

Haha I got a red one today and I beat the hell out of those tires. Really nice cars. The turbos have blow off problems so there might be a TSB coming out soon to lessen the shift shock. It hugs the corners very well the suspension is perfectly tuned

Who said Honda stole anything? I'm saying the Hyundai logo has been around longer than the Honda company. The oval around the H logo is symbolic of the global expansion of Hyundai, while the H is reminiscent of two people working seamlessly and harmoniously, essentially the customer and the company.

Hyundai wanted to ride on the fame of Honda's greatest success in US.
mimic H logo, "Honda" proninciation for "Hyundai", and Toyota's tagline.
Hyundai built its first plant in Alabama where Honda already has its plant.
What Hyundai did is impostering of Japanese company. lol

Hyundai started its prodcution at 1968(Ford Cortina).
Honda started its first production at 1963(Honda S500).
When Hyundai started its production, Honda won at Formula One GP.
that's why S.Korean talk is so-called evidence-less.
