Fala meu camarada!
@zefrafo Hi there. I'm itching to know how you properly dimension an exhaust system. I'm also thinking about building myself a 550 replica with a boxer engine.
Great work on the exhaust. You aren't old enough to remember the sweetest sound though. In the late fifties we use to drive mostly inline six cylinder chevy's and we would modify the exhaust manifold to split the front three cylinders from the back three and then keep the dual completely seperate from each other and run glasspak straight thru mufflers. They actually had a perforated straight thru pipe with steel wool packed in the outside. The harmonics from the firing order made the difference.
The hood didn't open the first time you put it back on did it?
