Thank you, wonderful video to one of those awesome '70's songs that they just don't make anymore, I'm afraid my music collection has alot of trouble getting out of the years '67-'79, LOVE this entire album, you just put it on and smile.
@TheSilverThreads I'm hip to your comment about music collections, there's good stuff out there now for sure, but it's "buried" under a pile of garbage. Back then the whole pile was pretty good. Good luck.
My God...I'm back again from my world travels and at my home in Wheat Ridge, Colorado and have just come in from the deck, watching the sunrise on the foothills and back peaks, and the flatirons of Boulder...at my laptop and I find this!! a piece of my youth...long lost. What a gift!
Boulder Skies still resonates with me after all this time.... their first album was definitely their best, my opinion. thanks for putting this on YouTube!!!!
@VNTPLA (Beautiful Italy...) You're very welcome, yeah, something very personal and dreamlike about being alone in a car singing..., driving somewhere, anywhere, nowhere...
thanksforthemusic Yes, that sense of disarming melancholyi I fought in some Jesse Colin Young, Rick Roberts, Poco (Bad Weather) songs and lately on some"no depression" bands. Dreaming bout new horizons and perspective, figuring to be in a mesmering western landscape. They were great.
This song is still my favorite from Bustin' Out. I still remember the place in the song when it changed tracks on my 8-Track version. Luckily, I now have it on my Ipod, without the break.
@musteach40 Yeah, it's funny how those breaks in the 8 tracks were just accepted, rollin' down the highway and just ..."Oh, here is where it breaks...," pause, and then start singing along again....
@cyberties The conditioning of the 1st memories of certain music. For many of us, for example, we still remember, (or" feel"), the order of the songs on the original release of The Beatles albums. How it seemed to be part of "the natural order of things...," and now..., the memory has been shifted just slightly when a song from the original album has been deleted from or added to another...., just part of The Way We Were... , remains forever to the individual...
just bought their greatest hits 72 to 99 such a shame they had so many problems, they were really good if they had stayed together who know ,reminds me of the love of my life, still love her always will, thank you for posting
@69redin They changed a lot after Craif fuller was jailed for draft evasion, not for the better in my opinion. His songwriting was their strongest asset
@thanksforthemusic - i read in the book, "Mick Ronson: The Spider with the Platinum Hair" by Weird & Gilly, that Mick Ronson did the string arrangement on this as well as played guitar, as he did on another song off this album, Call Me, Tell Me.
@GrayMuse Thanks for the information, always interesting & enlightening to learn these musical facts. There of course was always the $ factor, but many of us like to feel there was more of a camaraderie and joy of playing and respect for other musicians work. And one could find that on album to album.

@MainelyLove Pardon me, didn't mean to lose my manners in not responding. Thanks, very welcome. Yeah, Craig Fuller had some gems in that album.

I, too, listened to this on 8-track in my car all the time. And now, listening to the CD, I still pause for the "click."

@claytonave Mr. Fuller is a wonderful songwriter. Did good with Little Feat and Eric Kaz on respective albums.
