I AM INLOVE W/THIS SONG ON THIS SOUNDTRACK------THIS IS A SCARY GORY MOVIE,I LOVE MOVIES THAT MAKE ME GET UNDER THE BLANKETS AND CURL UP ON THE COUCH.
@wheatpuff -was this truly Cali? Or are you guessing? I know a lot of the movie was shot in Texas. And these scenes are reminiscent of my travels thru West Texas, the Davis Mountains, and etc. That is why this song is so beautiful to me, I discovered it thru the movie and , of course, being from Texas...
@metalliogie lake hughes road is the consensus we made a while ago, but it doesn't matter. beautiful as this is, I want to say that it is probably not the same in real life. Quiet and peaceful. So if it's not in texas it may as well be because places like this are where you find them.
im from brazil guys and i need to say that ths is the most and bealtiful music everrr all times ive heard this song makes me think about my life my parents and in my death i love this i lve terry you are a God man
this is what they need on that irt deadliest roads in indian a properly installed highway that well mantained or a core drill go threw the mountain so they wouldnt have to drive around it. wich they could come to find might be something resource full in that mountain in
this song is so awesome; let me illustrate,,,,,i caught my whore ass ex wife with another man while this here song was playing........and its become my song of freedom......i guess most would be like, fuck that song, but with me it was extremely inspirational......
@wheatpuff My parents took me everywhere when I was young... out west a lot. We were around that area, but sadly, I can't remember any of it! Hopefully will get out there again someday.
Probably one of the best closing credits ever. A balm for the soul after the movie's earthquake of an experience. The pace of the scenes match the beautiful song perfectly. That's the way to get an audience to stay for the credits. Have Terry sing.
"LET THE WINDS OF CHANGE REARRANGE THE COUNTRY". THIS SONG HAS CIVIL RIGHTS AND LIBERATION OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT IMBEDDED THROUGH AND THROUGH IN IT. VERY POWERFUL MESSAGE THAT WE SHOULD ALL LISTEN TO AND EMBRACE!
can someone please help me?? im tryin to figure out the song that was playin after tiny killed the sheriff and rescues otis and captain spalding from the burning house and they're reunited with baby outside... its only on for that couple of seconds of a scene... i've listened to every song in the credits and that one isnt in them!
what an incredible song!! I just heard of Terry Reid when I watched this movie last night. Where the hell have I been for the past 40 years! this guy is amazing!!
this is the most awesome immortal beautiful and amazing song ever ...brazil loves you terry you live forever here ....i have brave dreams all times when i sleep because your amazing songggggggggggggggg hugssss man you will live forever
I remember seeing the credits and saying where the hell has this song been my whole life. It is simply put...Amazing and timeless... a poor man's Stairway to Heaven in my opinion!
i remember renting devil's rejects & becoming completely obsessed with this song, often rewinding the closing credits just to listen to this song repeatedly, then came the hunt of tracking down both the soundtrack & Terry's "Seed of Memory" album, wow... an effort well worth my time.
@huezo92703 Man, exactly the same thing here. I've been totally hypnotized by this amazing song!! If you are so in 'connection' with this song, maybe you could recomend a song of the same caliber. Do you know any song similar to this one?!

@huezo92703 That´s crazy because it´s 100% exactly the same with me. I am still coming back to those end credits from time to time because there´s something mesmerizing about the combination of this song and the scene of flying over this desert road...
Best ending credits to any movie ever. The song plus the aerial helicopter shots over that road and hills gives me chills. I only wish I could see it without the credits. Awesome.
Its a shame most of us (including me and lots of my friends) notice terry reid of the ending credits in the devils rejects.... hes awesome. whereas, zombie is an awesome director. he should totally go mainstream.
I don't think the majority of people around me are psychopaths. They're just mind controlled slaves who attempt to emulate what they're told is cool by paid media hacks like the maker of this film who're also told what to do by their money masters. Serfs, one and all.
I loved this movie...I thought it was the shit! but then again im a huge fan of Horror flicks.. that and Rob Zombie had epic taste in picking the sound track for this movie
The movie takes place in Texas, note the license plate of the lady killed in the beginning, BUT! It was SHOT ALL IN CALIFORNIA. Texas does not look like that at all.
Not Texas at all! San Bernandino mountain range, off the 210. In response to the credits being shot in Texas. I've lived in both Texas and So Cal and the Lone Star state does not look like that.
